Recently attended a family wedding in Meredith, NH. Needed to rent several rooms for family members over the 4th of July! 'Twas tough to find rooms on Lake Winnepausaukee for the 4th, but came across the Meredith Inn, and am I glad I did. The charming owner, Janet Carpenter, made us feel right at home. This lovely Victorian "Painted Lady"...

We had a wonderful evening staying at the Meredith on a road trip through New England. The place is very quaint, the rooms are huge and has everything you could reasonably need, most notably a side bursting, delicious breakfast from the Meredith Inn's supremely charming owner.

This is a GREAT B&B! We would highly recommend it. We were incredibly impressed with the host, the home and all of the other little details that made our stay extremely enjoyable; everything from the clean and spacious room(s), décor, location, price and of course the food. Great Stay! If you’re in the Meridith area looking for a clean, quiet,...

My husband I spent an evening at the Meredith Inn and we were very impressed. The room was spaciouis and immaculate. There was an alcove with chairs so we could sit and read and not disturb the other person who was sleeping. The bathroom had a jetted tub which was very nice. The breakfast was very good, I look forward...

My husband and I stayed one night in this charming Bed & Breakfast in Meredith. Our room was neat and clean, which is important because my husband has a keen sense of smell and won't stay in a place if he detects a musty or suspicious odor. We took a short walk to the lake for dinner and then enjoyed...

We had a great stay, but I have to mention the squeaky springs on the comfortable bed in Room 5. Delicious breakfasts, coffee and tea available throughout the day, excellent location for scouting out the town of Meredith. I'm not sure what more to say...the other reviewers have covered Janet's helpfulness, etc.So I will ramble on to reach 200 characters.

I had always wanted to try the Meredith Inn, as I passed it driving through Meredith. It's a well kept pretty old house in the center of the older part of town, you really are at the center of an old New England town. The owner is a kind woman, who checks to make sure you don 't smoke and...

My husband I spent four nights at the Meredith Inn over the Fourth of July weekend. Janet, the owner painstakingly restored this property into the beautiful Inn it is today. Each room has its unique personality, and it was hard to decide our favorite after viewing all. Rooms are filled with beautiful antiques, yet they have all modern conveniences such...

We just had a most enjoyable stay in the New Hampshire Lakes Region at this most charming B&B. Our host was quite concerned that we would be arriving from New Zealand at the start of the annual "Motorcycle Week" but, although our room faced the street, we encountered no problems whatever.

Just spent a lovely weekend at the Meredith Inn. Janet was great and so interesting. We feel like we know so much about her and her family heritage and would love to hear more of her interesting stories. At the Meredith Inn you will be surrounded by antiques, classic family photos, and a book selection that everyone will enjoy. Within...
