Nice hike. Last 1/10th of mile very steep and rocky definitely accessible with some work.Beautiful hut. Fresh food available, candy and souvenirs. Love,love it. Early foliage not too crowded. Kids could do this. About 4 hours.

This is one of 3 huts open year round. Meals are served in the summer and early fall. Otherwise it is self service with a caretaker. This is the only hut open year round where the dining/cooking area and bunk rooms are in the same...More

This hut is relatively small but that is part of it's charm and it is next to the Zealand Falls. I happen to like hikes that follow a brook, stream or waterfalls. If you agree, than this just might be the place for you. Here...More

We hiked here with our 7 and 9 year old and they loved the whole hut experience. Clean comfy bunkhouse, loads of fresh food at dinner, very social cosy and friendly. Right by the falls where you can bathe al fresco. Really fun helpful staff,...More

Had a great time skiing into and out of the hut, and spending the night one sub-zeroF night in January. The hut keeper was gracious, and kept indoor temps in the main area above freezing. However, the bedrooms were about the same temperature as outdoors....More
