Great location just near Hanover but the accommodation is run down. The staff who work here don't care and don't know. Soaking wet buns for breakfast for example. Rooms clean enough but the entire property is like a dump site. Needs cleaning inside and out...More

I have booked at the Sunset, and had no problem regarding the reservation and the agreed-upon price. With a corporate chain type motel, you definitely want to have a confirmation number and written price. The Sunset is an old-fashioned family business. In lieu of a written reservation agreement, I suggest you obtain & record the name of the person with whom you speak, and the date & time. When you call to re-confirm (a few days before arrival), you can refer, if necessary, to the reservation made with "Mrs. Nina Patel, on Jan.25 . . ." [fictitious name used here]. Hope this helps.
