Over 30 years I have come to this Inn at least once every two years, sometimes more often. It has changed ownership several times but has always seemed to maintain the same standards. If you are staying in Laconia and do not need a view...More
Hated this place! This hotel has both smoking and non-smoking rooms. The problem is that the smoking rooms are below the non-smoking rooms. The draft (via the stairs and hallways) brings all of the smoking air right into my "non-smoking" room. I could not sleep...More
Spent this past weekend there, in town for NASCAR race. Hotel is very clean, staff is friendly and very helpful, Continental breakfast was better than most. As for the decor, it's New England! It's not old, or in need of updating! It's Early American furniture,...More

NO, but the Landmark did a full service resident team of prostitutes On Aug 19, when I booked through and tried to pay with Priceline. They refused to accept Priceline prepayment and said that the reservation was made through Bookings. In any case they made my daughter, a NH Justice of the Peace pay cash, and after seeing 2 filthy rooms, they refused to refund her payment.
Better business bureau, here we come.
