This place is across the street from Santa's Village and was perfect as a place to stay with the grand kids. When we got up in the morning, their excitement to see Santa was fueled by all of us, being able to hear in the distance, Christmas music from the park. Everything was clean, the staff helpful and attentive, and...

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us, John M! It really is amazing to see the excitement in the kids (of all ages) eyes when they wake up in the morning, before heading to Santa's Village! We hope to see you again soon!

For a motel I have to say this place was so clean. There is not a lot to do after Santas Village but the hotel had a lot of activities for the kids to do!They had Candy bar bingo, hayride and a bonfire. They had 2 pools which were very clean.I will definitely be back next year!!

We had a room on the first floor and the smell made us sick. We used lots of candles and lysol and it smelled like mildew/mold. The room was small, dirty and outdated. I can see some flies but the room was infested. Not sure why but it was horrible. The campground and pools were fine but the motel was...

A family wedding brought us to Jefferson. The Lantern Motel was a reasonably priced, very well maintained, spotlessly clean motel. The grounds behind the rooms offered picnic tables (perfect for a happy hour!), a nice playground and pool had we brought kids. The rooms are well equipped with mini fridge, coffee pot and microwave . The room colors (Browns, rust, gold,...

We are on our way to Maine in a travel trailer and found the Lantern Resort Motel and Campground on Rte. 2. Being late September, there were plenty of spots to put our trailer. The staff is friendly, the place is quiet and well cared for. I would recommended it to families wanting to visit Santa's Village.

Stayed the night at the motel, with my wife and two kids (ages 2&3), after a day at Santa's Village. The staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. The pool was very refreshing and much closer to the motel than the map looks. There was a kiddie wading pool which our kids loved. We will be back!

We stayed one night while visiting Santa's Village. Very clean and quiet. We were pleasantly surprised that in the evening while SV was closed the Lantern offered activites for the kids such as a hayride, games and roasting marshmallows. My kids also enjoyed the heated pool and playground. Rooms are clean with a decent TV. Double beds that aren't exceptionally...

We stayed in the rented camper/trailer for the first time and he last time. The resort itself is beautiful, but the camper itself is really not for us who is getting used to stay in hotels. We are definitely not going back. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: 1. Outdoor pool is very refreshing. Hot tub is nice too....

We had stayed there because we wanted to get away from the city. It is a very quiet place at night and had a great time. The campground was right across from Santas Village so if you go to Santas Village and stay at lantern you can easily walk from there to the park. I would recommend doing that only...
