Excellent hotel preserving its 200 year charm. Staff excellent and attentive. Wonderful setting in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Golf course rustic but the scenery was beautiful! Food at the restaurant was excellent. A great setting for all seasons.

Hotel's Favourite
This is the second time we have stayed at Eagle Mountain and, like the last time, it did not disappoint. My husband and I love the fact we can sit on the deck and relax right outside our room. We will definitely be back.

Hello Annt, Sitting on the veranda is something that everyone enjoys. The team and I are pleased to know that we have become a favorite place to stay while in the area. We hope to see you back this fall for the great colors. Thank you for staying with us.

My friend invited me to join him here and although I prefer modern hotels I enjoyed this one. I work in the industry and the service from the restaurant staff was second to none and the food was amazing, I still dream of the maple bread pudding! I would honestly just go back for that. As it's an old building there aren't too many plugs in the room but we made it work, the shower pressure was fabulous. The only fault I had was with the housekeeping, my friend had very dirty sheets for his bed, that he eventually got changed. They also didn't clean the room on the 2nd day and just made the beds when we definitely needed new towels, etc. And the shower itself on the walls was pretty gross with long hairs all over it and it was in a pretty visible site, I find it hard to believe any housekeeping staff would have missed that. But housekeeping can be fixed so I won't hold that against them, the restaurant and its staff were really the golden ticket here for me and I'm not even a foodie. I would stay there again.

Hello Travel, Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. During COVID we to insure that our guests feel comfortable and for the safety of our staff we have not been doing make-up service as we normally would do in normal times. I am sorry that this was not explained to you and check-in or pointed out to you on our check-in material we give to our guests on arrival. We are more than happy to provide fresh towels, soaps etc upon request or guests can pick them up at the front desk. The issue with housekeeping is not up to our normal standards, I am sorry that we had this lapse of service. We hope to see you again, thank you for staying with us.

We visit Jackson quite frequently and have stayed in just about every B&B, inn, and hotel in the town. While we have a couple of other favorites, too--depending on what we intend to do while there--Eagle Mt has been our "go-to" place the past couple of years. We enjoy xc skiing and hiking right out the door, not to mention the scenery and peace and quiet. During this time of Covid restrictions, we've been there twice now and are very impressed with the precautions they are taking and all of the staff's attitudes towards keeping guests safe and the hotel open for business. We intend to keep visiting this winter, as long as there is snow and no government-imposed restrictions for in-state travel.

We visited Eagle Mountain House from 12/3-12/6 and stayed in a suite with a queen bed. I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone looking to visit the White Mountains or the Jackson/Conway area. Not only is the hotel full of character from its years of serving visitors to the valley, but it also has some of the most professional and accommodating hotel staff possible. The staff, including bartender Jay and dining manager Meaghan, were always ready to go above and beyond to help us. Whether it was bringing drinks to the rocking chairs on the porch or setting us up with a table in the dining room, or even delivering our takeout up to our room, everyone was great and they made the trip truly special. The room itself was good, not great. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well, the shower was perfectly fine and the old elevator ride up to our floor was charming to say the least. Only gripes: towels were SMALL and the upstairs neighbors were LOUD. You could very clearly hear the people above us speaking - not words, just voices - which was a bit of an inconvenience. Finally, the food in the restaurant was great. We especially enjoyed the poutine and the fish tacos. The proximity to North Conway is unbeatable, and we loved driving around Jackson. We hope to be back in the summer!
