We love the Whitney Inn!!! We usually go up every summer with our kids. Place is so nice and the staff is wonderful. We went up in February just me and my husband and had a wonderful time once again! Highly recommend!

100% recommend staying here. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. Walk right up to Black Mountain. Shovel Handle Restaurant/Bar has the New England ski lodge feel and a great atmosphere with live music.

Took the family on a ski vacation with 2 first time skiers. The staff were very helpful and friendly plus we loved the location. Quieter ski slope with no lines and charming comfortable Inn to warm up around mountain activities. Great breakfast and the attached Tavern was perfect for some quality time with my husband at night. Plan to go...

I stayed at the Whitney's Inn for the first time two weeks ago and it was such a fantastic quaint little spot. My friends have been staying there for years and now I am hooked, I just talked to Joe the manager (who is so amazing and accommodating) and I just booked with friends and family for next weekend. The...

We enjoyed our stay at Whitney's Inn during a very snowy few days! The warmth of the entryway and sight of a fire crackling upon walking in after a day of skiing was our first impression. Michelle, who pretty much runs the Inn for the owner is very friendly and we had fun getting to know her and talk about...

This is the second time we have stayed here. The Inn is very quaint and peaceful. The staff is super friendly. We travel from NY but the ride is definitely worth it. The Shovel Handle Pub located right on the same property is delicious.

The Inn was clean and neat and the staff very friendly. Delicious breakfasts. Dinner at the attached Shovel Handle Pub was also delicious with great service. Very close proximity to cross country skiing and...

Wow! What a charming atmosphere. The staff and management (Joe) were super friendly and accomodating (I goofed up my reservation but they bent over backward to help us rectify). My wife and I can't wait to get back up there. We spent a rare evening away from the kids and it was simply picture perfect. Oh, and the room was...
