My husband and I wanted to say how much we enjoyed our watercolor workshop at the Gibson House. We loved the variety of painting locations, the gardens, the porches, and the many indoor areas for critiques and group discussion. The atmosphere was inspiring; the meals were delicious; and Susie and Marty were always willing to accommodate our special requests. We...

The Gibson House offers itself as a wonderful retreat for artists and art workshops. I went there in July with a group of artists. The one thing I can say about the GH is that the food was good. The accommodations were not set up for an art workshop. They have no slop sink or any specific area set up for...

Musty basement workspace with no sink and not enough table space. Desperately needs a dehumidifier. The whole place is poorly maintained and very cluttered and the food is good but very ordinary. The people are very nice until you try to open a window or draw a curtain to bring in some light and air. Or ask for your faucet...

I stayed in the Bamboo room this past week and I must say that I haven't enjoyed a good night's sleep in a very long time as I did in that room. It rated 98% sleep on my FitBit. Can;t beat that. Gibson House has a most relaxing and friendly atmosphere that only added to this enjoyable sojourn. Thank you...

We hadn't stayed at the Gibson House since Marty and Suzie bought it and were curious to see how the new owners are doing. It is still a great place to stay, comfortable rooms and superlative b'fast! This is one of the oldest houses in the Upper Valley so in some respects it seems a bit tired and in need...

Enjoyed teaching my pastel and oil workshop at the Gibson House. Susan and Marty are gracious helpful and provide wonderful breakfasts and lunches. Lovely, big clean rooms and a great area! I did not stay during my workshop because I live near, but my students liked the rooms they had and the ones I saw were really nice.

I just recently attended an art workshop at Gibson House. It was thoroughly enjoyable in every way. The well lighted downstairs studio is above ground at garden level and used as backup to the primary work spaces on two porches overlooking the beautiful backyard garden. I stayed in the immaculately clean "Day at the Beach" room with a plush comfy...

We enjoyed a lovely time at the Gibson House. Everything was great! The Hacienda room where we stayed was super clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed how spacious the accommodations were. The Baked Blueberry French toast was stellarly delicious!

We recently spent several days participating in one of the many summer art workshop offerings at the Gibson House B&B. We could not have been more pleased with our experience. Our room (Le Petit Chateau) was elegant and airy with spectacular sunset and early morning views, and the king-sized bed offered a perfect night’s sleep. The peaceful and relaxed atmosphere,...

My wife and I stayed here for one night and wished it could have been more. We were actually greeted by Marty in the driveway as we arrived 4 hours early for check in... The room was ready and we were brought in and given a tour by our very gracious host. He has the perfect personality for a B&B...
