I stayed at the Lodge with my dog so that we would have ready access to hiking in the area. Chet and Sue are incredibly hospitable and friendly. The atmosphere that they create was very conducive to my feeling right at home. The bed was comfortable, the food excellent and the place was extremely clean - I'll definitely be going...

Nearly forty years ago, my wife and I stayed at the Kinsman lodge on a trip through New England in my 1965 VW bug. Serendipity then and never faded away from our memory. Recently we went to the area to visit my college room mate who live just up the road from the Lodge and we decided to stay again...

Kinsman Lodge is an enormous wooden farmhouse on the outskirts of the tiny town of Franconia , with a view over the low hills before they become mountains and where the landlady told us she sometimes sees black bears and moose coming out to eat in the pasture. It’s essentially a hikers lodge with shared bathrooms (there is one ensuite...

Like many others already said... Food is awesome, rooms are awesome and even the whole Region is close to perfection too:) its definitely worth a visit. But you'll need a week minimum to get around and see the environment.

My Dad and Mom had their 50th wedding anniversary at the Kinsman Lodge. I can't say enough good things about our stay. There were about 25 of us, and we had a grand time. It is a beautiful place, very peaceful. Sue and Chet are great hosts!!! If you stay at the Kinsman you will not be dissapointed!

Chet and Sue were more than accommodating and kind. We stayed over before going to Cannon Mtn, very conveniently located and they even provide discounted lift ticket vouchers! The B&B itself is beautiful and well kept and the breakfast was the best I have had at any hotel, B&B, etc. This place is definitely worth every reasonable penny.

Myself and my boyfriend go to NH every year for our anniversary- this is our 5th trip up and we were planning on bringing our dog with us but changed our mind at the last minute. It is one of the few "Dog friendly" places to stay in the area. Sue and Chet are the definition of "Hospitality" and "Hard...

The inn is one of the cleanest I have ever seen so clean it is safe to walk barefoot on the beautiful old pine floors. The meals are truly home cooked and much of what you eat comes fresh from their garden. The linens are fresh the beds comfortable and the facilities are spotless. The owners are NH friendly making...

On October 1st and 2nd, 2014, we stayed at the wonderful Kinsman Lodge in Franconia, NH. This was our THIRD visit to Kinsman. We love to visit New England in the fall and Sue and Chet Thompson, Kinsman owners, make us feel like family members. Their hospitality is incredible. Not only did we enojoy their yummy, generous breakfasts, but their...

Clean, comfortable with reasonable rates. Well, that is not the end of this review only the beginning. Sue and Chet have made the Kinsman Lodge feel like my second home for over ten years. I visit the White Mountains every Spring and Fall. It is a perfect location to do day hikes from. There is no better way to start...
