We have stayed at the Darby Field Inn a number of times, but this time we stayed in Littlefield Suite. Loved it. It's two rooms that overlook the mountains. It also has a whirlpool tub. The sitting area has a couch, chair, a little table, gas fireplace and a big TV. After a day of snowshoeing, it was great to...

Hello Rokoren, First of all, thank you for your wonderful review! It's always a delight to have you and Joe in house! Secondly, you make a good point in that the suites ARE a great option for more comfort. The extra space and amenities in deluxe lodging can make all the difference, and the extra cost is minimal. Cocktails fireside...

My fiance and I absolutely love this place. The staff are all very friendly, the inn is extremely cozy with a nice big fireplace, and the views of the White Mountains to the North are unbeatable. Trails right out the back for snowshoeing or a walk, and minutes from Conway if you want to get out for dinner. Could not...

Hello Ben, Thank you for your review of the Darby Field Inn! We work really hard to make everything perfect for our guests, and it's always nice to know when we've succeeded! As we discussed, I hope to welcome you for a fourth time during the summer. The amazing flower gardens, refreshing outdoor pool, and incredible hiking trails make the...

What a great place to stay for the wkend. Or maybe longer. My wife & I came back to stay again at the end of January. Mark & staff could not have been any more accommodating. The members that Joanne & I would interreacted with were Corrol & Whanita. They are great people. So frendly & helpful. We return in...

A friend referred me to the inn. The inn was a little isolated. We loved the quietness of the area. We were celebrating my friend's Birthday. We were greeted by Carol and given the lay of the inn. We stayed in room 10 on the third floor. Bringing the luggage to the third floor could be a little challenging with...

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner while looking at the Moats. For starters we had the extra large shrimp wrapped in bacon. Entrees included the haddock special as well as steak tips to die for. The 3rd meal was the Mount Washington burger that was totally enjoyed. We each had the roasted potatoes which we all enjoyed. No doubt we will...

My wife spent a week plus in New Hampshire earlier this month. We started out trip with a 2 night stay at the Darby Field Inn. The inn is a short distance from Conway and just barely off the Kancamagus Highway. The Inn is and older building and does have some charm but it also shows it age. We were...

I appreciate your taking the time to offer your honest review of the Darby Field Inn. It's our goal to offer a unique, casual, and relaxed experience to our guests. Unfortunately, the inn isn't for everyone, and we don't always succeed. This is an almost 200 year old building that ALWAYS needs work! I'm glad you enjoyed the fireplace in...

Stayed 2 nights in September and it was perfect! The inn is located off the beaten path, so is quiet and tranquil. The grounds are beautiful! Only 3 couples were there the first night, and we all relaxed in the living room, enjoying each others' company. Breakfast is cooked to order and served at tables overlooking very busy bird feeders....

Hello Mary, I'm so glad we were able to win your husband over! The benefits to being off the beaten path are numerous, but I'd have to list the bird watching as one of my favorites. We came in late on a Thursday, about 8:30. The restaurant was already closed, but we had a drink in the bar, before heading up to our room. The common areas were nice.
