Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Am troubled by my "average" rating as I enjoyed aspects of my stay very much. Location is superb (a bit hard to find so I suggest you check directions carefully). Walking on the grounds in the the early frosty morning with the sun coming up from behind the far hills is a real pleasure. Coffee in the sitting room is great. Breakfast is good and plentiful. The host is a very interesting individual full of "life experience" stories that he is willing to share. But room was very disappointing. Very small with a toilet space not much bigger than a tiny closet with a tiny sink and a toilet. Also the type of mattress is not to my liking. I hardly slept. Maybe am getting to old for B&Bs. Too bad.

It seems in the middle of nowhere, but the view from the terrace and the room is awesome. A very friendly host and a special place to stay. It has its own special charm. We came middle of October, and were alone in the house. We visited the Beaver Falls and drove down route 145 from North to South. Lovely! On our tree week tour through the region this will stay surely in our memories. Also the short crossborder visit to Canada was interesting. It's not as bad as Tijuana, but you need some patience and the right answers to the questions they ask... on both sides ;-)

A great place to enjoy the mountain views and unwind! Bill will cook you a great breakfast and tell you some great stories! We had the King Suite and were very comfy! If you want to be spoiled in the country here is your spot! We hope to return next September for a visit in the mountains!

We spent 1 night at this charming B&B with a beautiful view of the White Mountains. Upon arrival we were greeted by the very friendly owner Bill. We stayed in the King Suite--beautiful bed covering, decorative pillows and soft, silky sheets. This room has a private full bathroom. For guests convenience there is available an area with refrigerator and microwave,as well as sitting area in a library and living room with TV. Tasty breakfast was served on a dining room table set with attractive dishes and glasses. We would definitely recommend this property and if ever in this area would choose to stay here.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my family this summer. This is a very quaint inn, tucked away in Colebrook, NH with spectacular views of the surrounding woods and mountains. Our room looked out onto these views. The owners cooked AMAZING and original full breakfasts, and each morning we stayed and chatted at the table with other guests for at least an hour. A very warm, friendly environment to relax and meet people! The price was great, and the decor was really nice. Feels like a home away from home, as there's a living room to watch TV and read in if so desired. My only issue was the Tempur-pedic beds. I was excited to try one out, but actually had a terrible time sleeping on it, and didn't get much sleep at all. Not very comfortable, so if you like these beds, then you'll

We recently visited Notch View, on Father's Day weekend to go atving. What attracted us to the inn was we would be able to atving right from the property and access miles of trails! Bill, the owner, is a very interesting man and loves to talk! So friendly and welcoming! Our rooms were great and the breakfast, which is included, was awesome & plentiful. The Inn was very clean and has beautiful views, though it was cloudy & rainy while visiting. We hope to visit again during the summer again with friends.

My wife and I stayed at this B&B for 2 excellent nights. The bed was perfect (sleepnumber bed) and I hated to get up. The breakfast was great and filling. We are definitely coming back again the next time we need a place to stay near Colebrook.

Notch View is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast in Colebrook, NH. The rooms are quaint and decorated with antiques. A wonderful Living room with a TV (if you have to have it!) or to sit and read and relax. The owners are very pleasant and very informative about the area and local restaurants. Two rooms have private baths, the queen suite and the king suite. Two others have a 1/2 bath. Breakfast was very nice and they will schedule it to whenever you want it! Pancakes, eggs, bacon; very good. We were there for the first snowfall of the season and it was beautiful! We will definitely be going back more this Season!

Notch View Inn is truly in a unique setting. The views are superb and the potential for seeing wildlife is first rate. In fact our host Bill offered to take us out walking in the surrounding area at 6am but unfortunately it was too wet for us to venture out. Our accommodation was excellent with a wonderfully comfortable bed and access to a lounge as well a cosy "conservatory" where we could take in the views. The breakfast was really good as was the advice regarding where to eat and where to visit in the area. Bill and Donna certainly made this one of the highlights of our 3 week trip to New England

Owners Bill and Donna are great, I mean absolutely wonderful. They have a beautiful house and property in northern New Hampshire near the town of Colebrook. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Bill and Donna cooked us a fantastic breakfast which included pancakes, eggs, bacon and great coffee. We had a terrific time. I would absolutely recommend their Inn to anyone.
