We visited Lazy Dog Inn 10 years ago and again this year. It is the most dog-friendly place we have ever stayed - dogs and their antics are welcome, as are their owners. The breakfasts are hearty, homemade and delicious. Steve, the innkeeper, knows all the appropriate dog-friendly hiking trails, and gauges his suggestions based on his sense of you...

We had an awesome experience start t finish. In the beautiful white mountains of New Hampshire we traveled with our two dogs who had never traveled before. They and we felt instantly at home with the friendly innkeepers. Which is no easy trick since our dogs are very spoiled. The room was incredibly comfortable and naps were had by all....

I can not actually review the rooms or place as we were turned away at the front door. We had headed up on February 20th of this year to stay at our vacation home only to find the furnace shut down and the pipes frozen. The house was colder than outside and it we soon realized we needed to find...

What a perfect place to make your home base while exploring the White Mountains with your pup! We booked the "Molly's Monet" room very last minute, and everything was perfect. We're pretty particular with where we'll bring our dog, but from the moment we saw the happy looking exterior of the inn and met Lauren & Steve we felt completely...

My husband, beagle and I have stayed at the Lazy Dog on many occasions, both winter and summer. Steve and Lauren ate absolutely wonderful. Steve makes an amazing breakfast and can map out any type of activity or hike you and your pet may want to take. The rooms ate quaint and no sign or smell of dog will you...

A Bed and Breakfast which is a sterling example of Dog Friendly. In my travels throughout New England with my dog PJ there are only two bed and breakfasts which catered to your dog and the Houndstooth Inn in Kennebunk Maine and the Lazy Dog Inn. Your best friend does have the run of the Inn minus the dining room...

We continue to return to the Lazy Dog Inn every time we are anywhere in the vicinity. Steve and Lauren are warm and welcoming to doggies and humans alike. They are extremely knowledgeable about the area and can help advise whatever your needs. Love the decor and most especially the fact that our 4 legged friends are truly welcomed and...

Hotels and pets don’t often mix.  There is usually an expensive cleanup fee and most lodging refuses to accommodate our furry friends.  We’re stuck leaving our besties back at home, with begrudging family or friends keeping an eye on them — or, worse, boarding them in a kennel.  We feel guilty that they cannot spend our valuable time off in...

Steve is a fantastic host and a great cook. This is truly a dog friendly experience. My wife, my dog Talula, and I stayed in the Little Fala room for 2 nights and it was amazing. We can't wait to come back.

We recently stayed at the Lazy Dog Inn after two separate friends recommended it. We had a fantastic time. First, the dogs were able to stay with us. The kennels where they can stay while you're out or at breakfast were huge and comfy. Bring their dog beds with you. The run for their exercise, relief and play time is...
