This B&B is a charming and historic Victorian home - very well managed and taken care of.... with not just breakfast... but a gourmet breakfast - cooked to order and presented beautifully. Sandra is an excellent chef. Highly recommend the Henry Whipple House! We have stayed there many times when coming to Bristol - to spend Christmas with family in... More

We stayed here on a cold and blustery weekend in October while visiting our daughter on Family Weekend. Sandra is an exceptional host, from her efficient handling of our reservation to the fabulous breakfast others have raved about. It is evident that she really cares about the quality of the premises and the service she provides. The house has a... More

This was our second visit to this wonderful bed & breakfast. The owners made us feel very welcome, and were more than happy to spend time giving us their local know how to make our visit more enjoyable. The breakfast was imaginative and beautifully cooked and the building both indoors and outdoors is full of amazing Victorian period touches whilst still... More

This is one of the best B &B's we have experienced. Wonderful hospitality, accommodations and food, and superb customer service in a meticulously restored Queen Anne Victorian home. From the moment we stepped inside we were treated with the utmost kindness Sandra’s breakfasts are legendary and not to be missed. Her scones are to die for. Sandra (the owner) could... More

We stayed in the Guest Room, which had a very comfortable king bed and three large windows allowing lots of natural light. We had breakfast downstairs both mornings, and it was delicious. Very gourmet. We... More

The Henry Whipple House is a beautiful and comfortable bed and breakfast. Sandra is a wonderful host who really focuses on each person's needs. Every morning we had heard of her famous breakfast but the actual breakfast out did what we had even expected. She helped our son feel at home and spent time discussing the surrounding sights to see.... More

I love this place. Sandra has created a wonderful spot ... welcoming us back, great breakfasts, easy and comfortable to stay, little things that make a difference like cookies, cold drinks and tea always available. She does a great job being 'green' in a way that makes you want to do more. Thanks!!
