When Mike asked me how our stay was going, I cleverly quipped, "Tripadvisor doesn't lie." The myriad of glowing reviews on this site should be all of the proof you need to trust that you will find beautiful mountain views, peace and quiet, tranquility, romance, and a quaint taste of rural NH should you visit this lovely lodge. Although we... More

How often are our first impressions the lasting ones? From the moment we stepped out of the car to walking out the door for home, Mike and Carol made our long weekend a truly enjoyable, relaxing and fun experience. Without a doubt, the lodge itself and the delicious breakfasts definitely stand out, yet it's the subtle things during our stay... More

Mike, one of the owners, was very nice and genuinely concerned making sure he knew what trail we were taking and checking to make... More

Bear Mountain Lodge is one of those rare places that actually looks like the photos on its website! We loved the style, everything is appointed with great flair. Grate terrace overlooking the woods. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, not to mention great breakfasts!
