We decided to stay here because it is a historic property. We were glad we did. The hotel is beautiful. The desk clerk was very welcoming. The room was not large, but it is what we expected in an older hotel. We had a queen room. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size. There was free...

The Mizpah is the best hotel in town. It's a step back in time with old decor and old fashioned, friendly service. And then there's the Lady in Red ghost who is kept alive by the staff. A not to be missed gem. Not just a hotel, but an experience.

I stayed at The Mizpah during a motorcycle trip in September of 2015. I rode Highway 50, "The Lonliest Road," and was on my way back to Las Vegas to meet some friends. After seeing the hotel on Ghost Adventures I had to stay here. Being off season the hotel was somewhat empty, I asked for the lady in red...

Thanks, Frankie D! I'm glad your experience was such a good one. The Lady in Red has been encountered in many different ways by many of our guests. The 'orb' shot you took was her way of saying hello, no doubt. We'll look forward to your return stay with us, and I'm sure she does, too!

Spent Sunday night here and really enjoyed the mystic of this grand ol place. The Hotel was clean and comfortable, the room was on the small side but in 1907 that's the way Hotels were built. The Hotel boast of a Lady in Red that was killed on the 5th floor and is said now to haunt the place but...

Thank you for your kind words. Not everyone encounters the Lady in Red, but we get enough reports from guests over the years to convince us that she is still very much a 'guest' here. I am glad your experience here was a good one, and I sincerely hope you will return to let us serve you again.

We were driving from the CA coast to Tonopah, not far from DeathValley seemed a perfect stopping place. We had seen reviews of the Mizrah Hotel which described it as a place of "surprisingly good food" and so we gave it a try. We were also pleasantly surprised. The Mizrah is an old hotel with alot of memorablia...such as photos...

I was raised in this little town. As a little girl, I always dreamt about staying in this historic place. I was fascinated by it. It had something special and it obviously it still does. I was thrilled to hear of the restoration and revitalization of The Mizpah. I had to make a trip back, just to make my dreams...

Stayed here for the first time on 3/1. When I made the reservation online I received a very nice reply and felt welcome. I requested room 502 and they were able to get that for me. Because of this initial experience I was really exited to arrive. When I arrived I walked up to the front desk and happily said...

Thank you for your comments. Please allow me to apologize for the interaction with the our check in agent. The interaction was quite unusual as the service at the front desk is typically outstanding. We have addressed the issue. I am happy to report that we are upgrading our HVAC system so that you will not experience the issue again....

As most people, we made Tonopah a stop as part of our travel between Las Vegas and Reno. We made Mizpah our overnight stay and really enjoyed it. Glad they kept it historic and the rooms updated. The hotel has its differences unlike chain hotels. The rooms are nicely decorated in keeping with its historic touch. The rooms are very...

Hi KwajDog! We love "ohh yea" as a guest review! The Mucker Irish Red Ale is made by the Tonopah Brewing Company just down the street (also owned by Fred and Nancy Cline, who own the Mizpah). The hotel was one of the first luxury hotels in Nevada, so yes, it is classic. Next time you're here, try a night...

Restored hotel, saloon dating back to 1907, now includes 2 restaurants and casino. Turn of the century decor guest rooms with modern conveniences. I received excellent service by staff, found guest room very comfortable. Within driving distance to other historic Nevada towns and ghost towns, Manhattan, Goldfield, Miller's. Sights nearby include Tonopah Mining Park/Museum, Tonopah Cemetery, & Central Nevada Museum....
