It has been years since I last stayed at Harrah's Reno and the years have taken their toll of a once magnificent hotel/resort. The East Tower needs a thorough update from the dirty hall carpets to the sagging uncomfortable chairs in the rooms. The main...More
The over all experience was nice. Great location. In walking distance of most other casinos and entertainment. The staff was very helpful and polite. The room however felt a little out dated. The sheets had a couple stains on them. The towels in the bathroom...More

Yup, concur with those who answered ... WEST a little better for location and even a bit quieter, unless you have a room facing Virginia St. which could be a bit busy and will get the setting sun in summer, making them warmer. Just to be clear, have stayed in both towers over the years ... neither has been "update" in recent memory.
Hope you enjoy your stay and have a good time.
