Was disappointing! The service was fantastic but the food was pretty bad, except for the basket of breads and the potato soup. Two of us had a Bloody Mary . One of us got olives, one did not! The corned beef and cabbage was dry, and the salmon was so dry it was almost inedible! The gift shop has been...

Stayed here last week while visiting Las Vegas. The cabin was excellent. Great views, nice bed and a great centrally positioned gas stove. Nice Jacuzzi tub as well. The restaurant and staff was excellent. On the negative side: We arrived at 6 PM. My reservations were made months in advance and I called to confirm them just a week before....

I have conflicted feelings about this place. Love the rustic homey feeling and the fireplace in the center of restaurant. I like the menu and the prices are not all that bad. This is where the good end and the not so good comes in. I have been here 3 times, my wife loves the place. All three times I...

I enjoyed my stay very much. Lovely log cabin with a comfortable king size bed, large jetted tub, large fireplace, extra daybed, living area with wall mounted TV/DVD and porch with seating to view the mountains. Onsite restaurant/sports bar area. No wifi or cable but office had DVD rentals for $1 ea. Not luxury but everything I wanted in a...

Stopped for breakfast and enjoyed the beautiful views, the food and the staff was very nice. Ours referred us to the Desert overlook that we would have missed. It was remarkable standing on a snowy mountain looking at the desert!

The place is located in the middle of mt Charleston. Is a nice location to stop and take pictures with the snow, can eat there too. Food is ok. Nothing special! Hamburger ok. Service is not good. Restrooms not very clean

Cannot recommend more highly a visit to this area if you are in Vegas. 45 min from the Strip and you enter another world! I have not stayed here at the lodge but it is pet friendly ( a few cabins at least!) so I might try it out if I am ever here with my dogs. The area is...

Overall my girlfriend, her son and myself had a great time. We came up for 3 nights the week of Christmas. Just to get away from Vegas, see some snow and enjoy the cooler weather. The lodge was nice. Very friendly and a nice, cozy ambiance. The restaurant was nice, we ate there just about every day. Breakfast and dinner....

We are always impressed to see such contrast from the Las Vegas Strip which is about thirty minutes away. You step into a mountain resort environment in the small mountain town of Mount Charleston that reminds you of Switzerland . At the top of the mountain is the lodge which is famous for its hot chocolate lavished with lots of...

Did not stay as we did a day trip. Enjoyed an excellent lunch. The hot spicy soup kept the cold out. Service was good, staff friendly. Lodge Restaurant is cosy. Scenery fantastic. Well worth the stop on our way round the mountain. If travelling now and want to leave your vehicle to enjoy the spectacular scenery, wear warm clothes, gloves...
