This Embassy Suites is located by the University across from the Virgin Hotel. I was a bit nervous when we drove in and a jet was flying low overhead as it was preparing to land; however, once inside you could not hear the roar of the jets at all. In fact, the rooms were very quiet. It had the standard setup of all Embassy Suites I have stayed at...the bedroom with a separate living area. Very convenient . There were also many restaurants within a block of the hotel. The Virgin Hotel and Casino was across the street. That being said, I’m not so sure of the safety if walking at night as there are not many people around. During the day it felt fine walking to the casino or restaurants. A shuttle bus to the strip would have been nice, but they did not have one. The breakfast had a nice variety, and the two staffers manning the omelette station did a great job. They had two complementary drinks per person of wine, beer (bud only), and we’ll drinks. They did not have any snacks to go with the drinks as we have experienced in other Embassy Suites. This may be due to Covid restrictions. This was a good stay and I would stay here again when in town for a conference.

Hotel's Favourite
Considering all of the COVID-related issues the hotel staff was amazing when it came to doing its best to make our stay a good one. The breakfast buffet was not available, but a hot breakfast was and it was decent. There was a large convention at the hotel and the service was still outstanding. When I asked to locate an ice machine I was given a good-size bag of ice which I thought was a nice touch. The room was quiet and the AC worked as designed. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and we were quite pleased with our stay, particularly so with the front desk team that always did all it could to make us feel welcomed. Easy parking access, but it has the Hilton properties price gouging tag. Still, I can highly recommend this property for families

The service and friendliness of the hotel staff was amazing. The cleanliness of this hotel was refreshing. The environment for meetings and events was very conducive for learning. The morning breakfast was delicious. This hotel is a great place for lodging for business related events or personal as well.

Although I’m glad to see the hospitality hour back, we were so disappointed in our stay in Las Vegas. I acknowledge that they had many signs in the parking lot warning against leaving items in the car, and I should have known better. However, we got in late and planned to leave early, and left my computer bag. When we got our in the morning, it was missing, along with a number of other items we are just discovering. The signs of course mean they aren’t liable, but if it is an expectation that the parking lot is unsafe, I would expect valet parking, a gate, or at the least cameras. The management was not concerned in the least, and beyond saying they would let housekeeping know, that’s all I got from them. Very angry and disappointed- in myself as much as the hotel. But we won’t be back. (And we pass through monthly).

The hotel is very good (including a nice pool). The 2 free cocktails at 5:30 pm and great breakfast are big positives for Embassy Suites in general. The location is near the airport but the airplane noise is minimal. Within a short walking distance is a strip mall with multiple decent eating options including Big Chicken (Shaq) and Ferraro's Ristorante. The negative on this stay was that when we checked in at 3:30 pm our king-size bed with "pure wellness" was unavailable (we had stopped by at 12:30 pm and were told to return no sooner than 2 hours later). They put us in Room 603, a very nice room, except it ended up spelling like there was a sewer issue in the pipes leading to the bathroom. The last time I remember something like this was about 10 years in a Cancun hotel. We told the desk clear (a USC grad) about it but there was no offer of compensation for the odor. We hope they corrected the issue before subjecting someone else to it.

The room was clean, modern, attractive with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The breakfast was unusually good with made to order omelets, french toast and bacon rather than the usual continental fare. We only stayed one night as we were there for a show at the Bellagio. A negative is that the strip is about a mile away. Parking was fine.

Poor front desk help for people who are not black. Front desk person acted bothered when helping clients because she wanted to be having personal conversations with her boyfriend?? who was hanging out in the hotel lobby during her shift. Room was dirty at check in. Bedding for the pull out bed was not avialable and no solution was offered.

Horrible front desk service in the evenings. Outdated bar that closes early and doesn’t offer food. Not like other Embassy’s I’ve stayed at. Won’t be returning to this location. Called front desk in the evening and staff n ver answered, had to go to front desk only to find employee chatting with security guard and than even made me wait!

The positives: the staff is great and the hotel is incredibly close to the airport and strip, and the rooms are comfortable. On the other hand: at the price you can get nicer rooms. The sound of planes overhead is very noticeable in the room, although it didn't bother me personally. There was garbage left in the hallway by the elevator from when we arrived at 6:30 pm to when we left at that time the next morning.
