I was very disappointed from the beginning. I got two rooms that shared a door. Before arriving I spoke to someone on the phone that told me We would be able to check in early. This was not the case. In fact our room was done after 3pm. They said they tried to call me and let me know that the room was ready but I never had a missed call from the hotel. After that multiple other things happened that were very disappointing. They closed down the pool on day because of a “dust storm” we looked across the street and other hotels still had their pools open. The pool was so dirty you could see all kind of trash inside. I have stayed at the Venetian/Palazzo now for the third time. The first two time I had amazing experiences this last time it was so disappointing I am not sure I will come back.

We have been to Vegas probably 20 times... we've stayed at bad and good Hotels, The Venetian is a very pretty hotel, we spent lots of money especially on room service dinner... we had to ask for washcloths when we arrived in our King Suite, it only took a few minutes for them to bring them. We were told by the bell guy after we picked up something on the bar to check the price, that there was a sensor, we weren't told that at check in, so we were charged an extra amount, but three days later they took the charge away. Everyone was pleasant and professional, no complaints there, Might stay again, not sure, just don't touch the snack bar!

Poor House keeping let this hotel down. The room was big and comfortable. The strip view is not the best it is of The Mirage but you can not see the Volcano. I have had much better views from other hotels on the strip. However there was 3 of us stopping in the room we were constantly left with towels for 2 people. I did call house keeping and let them know but that did not make a diffrence. The shower leaked all over the floor I reported this and this was repaired in a fashin but still leaked. One day we left the room late after having a late night I informed house keeping the room was now ready to be cleaned. When we returned at 10pm the room had not been cleaned. On the last night we were left with dirty drinking glasses and ice bucket from the night before I had to report this twice and waited over an hour to have fresh glasses and ice bucket brought to the room. If you have ever stayed at any of these hotels The Wynn, Wynn Encore, Cosmopolitan, Bellagio or The Aria you will be very disapointed

Stayed for 7 nights at the Venetian for a friends special birthday celebration, some down time as a couple and to tick off some bucket list activities . Will keep as simple as possible… Pro’s Location on the strip Bloody beautiful - the atmosphere and detail is incredible especially where the gondolas are. Comfy beds - we paid for upgrade and got a large suite with small patio and jacuzzi bath which was a blessing after all the waking and sightseeing. Our fiends didn’t upgrade and were happy with their room. Sunshine by pool - it takes a bit of time to come round but it does and when it’s hot you will want the shade (no umbrellas when we visited by main pool) Gym - well laid out and lots of equipment. Used twice as we did do much walking it was t really needed. Cons Pool - queuing to get into the pool area to get a sunbed. Pool opens at 9am but closed at 5pm. First day we got to the door at 8.55 to find a queue going down a corridor of bedroom doors. People ran to b Blain their spot. Sun beds are next to each other with no gap. Just pray your pool neighbours are pretty normal. The restaurants by the pool were lovely for breakfast. Drinks extortionate. Check in time - we Waited 20mins but it looks like it’s pot luck. We walked past one day and the line went by the door. Water pressure - there was none. Washing hair difficult as shower only has the head from the ceiling no separate handheld. Size of the hotel - I don’t mean physical size (I have no issue walking everywhere) I mean the sheer amount of people. We visited well after spring break and couldn’t believe how many children were in Vegas. Resort fee - whilst I know all the hotels do this, I think it’s bad when you don’t get a fridge or tea/coffeemaking facilities in your room, you cant get a sunbed straightaway, Costs of things - went to Vegas 10 years ago with same ish exchange rate from UK and it was no where near this expensive. We have been to Vegas a few times and this will be our last trip. Glad we got the chance to stay at this hotel but would I recommend? Probably not
