This is a for profit hotel, if you are looking for a place to laid your head for a few hours of sleep than the flamingo is the place. I am retired military I would not suggest this hotel to none of my friends.

The room was clean and looked nice. Had a great view of courtyard/pool. It was an older room and the tub faucet wouldn't stop dripping. Everything else about the room was very nice. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Wonderful stay!

The front desk agent, Dennis, checked us in and provided excellent customer service. Very nice and informed us of events going on near by. The casino seems updated and is located in a very good spot on the strip. The room was very spacious but was not updated at all. There were areas in the room that had not been...

On the Plus Side: -Great location; proximity to restaurants, bellagio fountains, and convenience store was great -Friendly housekeeping and casino staff -Plenty of places to grab a quick coffee/breakfast The Negatives: -Long check-in lines -Bare-bones rooms (no coffee machine, mini fridge, etc) -Pool was closed so guests were welcome to use the neighboring hotel's pool; however, it was adult only....

We had a great week staying at the Flamingo, the hotel is located right in the center of the action. This time we brought our kids and they enjoyed the fun as well. We especially liked seeing Tape Face and having our pic with him.

Casino was great. Odds were very acceptable and friendly. Tournament was well managed and controlled. We also saw the Donny & Marie Show. We were less than satisfied. The slides of them 50 years ago were ok. But to constant say we were great then, and we are great now got kind of old. Their jokes did not make up...

Hungout at the margarita paradise on our first night. Lots of drinking games and other forms of entertainment. Large casino, had some luck at black jack and the slots. Was with 12 guys everybody had fun and we had some people win some money. Nice stop on the new strip, has some history and old school charm. I liked it...

This hotel isn't as swanky as many on the strip but it is a Vegas Original. I have found lead in rooms to be a bit below par. Upgrading one level (which is not much per night) makes a big difference and is well worth money. I found Casino Staff and Front Desk Staff extremely helpful and you cannot beat...

Lived out of our suitcase for 4 days. Moved to 3 different rooms. Our paid room (that was more expensive) was not available the first night. The second night we got the room that we paid for however, the Internet connection that we were paying a resort fee for didn't work. The last night we finally got a decent room...

We always stay at the Flamingo in Vegas it is a centralized location. Now with the new added alleyway with O'shea's and new restaurants and bars a real fun spot. The gambling could be better not enough new slot machines as some of the other casinos. Margaritaville's is also a plus attached to the casino.
