Very nice rooms and downtown where all the light shows are.We were going to stay on the strip and I am so glad we didn't. The staff was superb. We stayed in the Carson Tower and it was very nice. We took a cab to the strip and it was only 10 dollars.

I visited the Golden Nugget in October 2014. While I was there I ate at Vic & Anthony's. I can't say enough good things about Vic & Anthony's. It is always wonderful every time I go there. While I was there I lost something. I was very upset at the time. The Golden Nugget stepped up to the plate and...

Enjoyed our stay for the 2014 NFR in Las Vegas. Room was nice and service was great. Will be there again next year. Shark tank was interesting, pool area was very nice, casino was fun and club was fun as well. I would recommend this during the NFR and loved the stay downtown. Easy bus ride to the strip.

We've been to Vegas 20-25 times but had never stayed downtown on Freemont St. We were in the Carson Tower (cheapest), but very nice nonetheless. While the hotel was good, the restaurants, too, we were less impressed with Freemont St. Even though it's an easy end-to-end stroll, unlike the strip, the local scenery was just a bit too weird for...

Room was very nice for the money. Clean up to date and room service was very polite. I could go for less of the Fremont experience of old men in g-strings but that is not the hotels problem.. :) Will stay there again for the rodeo next year!

Stayed at The Golden Nugget hotel recently. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas. This hotel is in the downtown area of Las Vegas. It is nice you can walk out the door to the Freemont Street Canopy where they have nightly entertainment. The bus service is excellent. We purchased a three day pass which was great as we could get...

The Golden Nugget is easily the best hotel downtown. I enjoy the central location and being able to go to other casinos across the street without a 1/2 mile walk. They have reasonable gambling limits for normal people to enjoy. They have an excellent poker room, beautiful blackjack dealers, and an exciting atmosphere. They typically are not very pretentious at...

Having stayed at the Golden Nugget many times, on this trip we received a free upgrade to the Rush tower due to overbooking of the Gold Tower which is normal preference, WOW! The rooms are beautiful and the fact there has never been smoking in this tower really makes a difference. Spacious bathrooms with double sinks is a nice touch...

We had a three night stay at the Golden Nugget Las Vegas for a friend's 50th birthday celebration. This property is located in the Fremont Street section of downtown Las Vegas, and the property is fronted on the Fremont Street Experience. Our room was located on the 10th floor of the Carson Tower, and despite the age of the downtown...
