This is the first time that I have been to a hotel where I feel unsafe. I checked in about 9pm with my family. The door to the lobby was locked. You had to pick up a phone to tell the clerk your business before she unlocks the door. The bouncer looking guy was near the front door. The outdoor lighting of the hotel is dark and dreary. Street walkers near by that gives you additional scare. Parking lot is extremely packed. Hard to back out because you got cars parked on the opposite end. Let's move on with the room: 1) We booked a room that has 2 double-beds and a sofa that supposed to roll out to a double bed. The sofa bed is not a double size but an extra-large twin, and it is not a thick mattress. You are sleeping on the springs. And it was stained brown-reddish stain. No extra bedding provided so we slept on the stained spring-felt mattress because I didn't want to go to the creepy parking lot to get to the lobby to ask for extra bedding. 2) There was a huge master-bedroom sized closet that was bigger than the bathroom. The bathroom length was the length of the tub. When you get out of the tub, you take one step forward and there is your door. Basically it is a 1/2 bathroom and the ceiling height was 6 feet 6 inches. 3) Mismatched furniture makes you think they bought them from the thrift shop to add on to it. Broken table legs. These photos that they show are correct but they are very bad looking when you see them in person. 4) Had a mid-sized fridge but it wasn't working right so after 12 hours, it didn't put out much cold air still. 5) Grab n go breakfast was consisted of coffee/hot chocolate and small muffins and nature valley granola bars. So don't expect anything fancy 6) there were a lot of broken-looking vehicles which makes me think they have long-term residence guest too. I can not believe Extended Stay of America would allow such standards. I have been to many other ESA and they have at least business-grade atmosphere that is superior. Now I will have to be careful about going with ESA which is unfortunate.…
We have been staying at this specific location for over 3 weeks now and can't say enough about it. We have been so surprised that everything about this site is fabulous. The front office staff, Bernie, Melissa, Tiffany and the gen., mgr. Elix have all been more than helpful and truly care about the guests & their needs. They are warm, friendly yet very professional! The place is extremely clean and I haven't so much as seen a gnat around. We are on the 3rd floor and it's so quiet I sometimes wonder if we are the only ones staying in the bldg. We will continue to stay here long term (or short) as long as we are in LV and would highly recommend it to my friends and family.
Wanted to stay close to the airport to catch an early morning flight home from our Grand Canyon family vacation. The front desk staff was very friendly, but the hotel was a little outdated with rickety furniture. Each room has exterior doors and the smell of pot smoke permeated everywhere. Also heard people talking outside and other doors opening and closing all night long. I’m lying awake writing this review at 3:45 am.
My family of six just needed a place to crash for the night. We booked this place because they had a pull out couch would accommodate all six of us. However when we arrived late we were escorted by security to our room, because there were no key cards. Which made us unable to come and go freely from our room. When we got inside it was just gross! The kids didn’t even want to sleep in the beds, I covered them up with bath towels. The pull out couch bed was broken, along with no bedding for it. I went to call down to the front desk however the hotel phone was broken with zero dial tone. No way to find the phone number online to call the front desk. Two of us slept sitting up all night long, to be awoken by someone from management just freely walking into our room at 8 o’clock in the morning. How they were able to have key cards and we weren’t is a question?? I would never recommend this place for a family to stay at or anyone for that matter.…
Place was clean and nice. Staff was down to Earth and friendly. Free wifi dishes, plates, towels, toiletries whatever you need plus free breakfast and coffee in the morning. Was very happy with my stay.
Booking was done about a week in advance. Travelled 2 adults with 2 teens. We needed a room with 2 double beds and a pullout couch. They got this part right. We arrived expecting great quality service. However once we started walking through the stairwell and corridors toward our room, I found myself asking, Is it just me or the standards of ESA have dropped drastically? The place is not clean and there’s a foul smell as you walk through. We like to choose ESA especially when on a budget but when we reached our room I was ready to leave. Both the phone and TV we’re not working! We had traveled more than 12 hrs and just needed to rest so at least the TV should have been working. We call the front desk (using my cellphone) and we’re told that an engineer would come to check the TV and phone the following day. Not acceptable. They then offered to move us to a different room where there was TV and phone service. This helped calm me down some. Then we ask about the pool and we’re told that it wasn’t open, as in it was locked to guests. I understand that we have to be careful about COVID-19 but how wasn’t this communicated at the time of booking? Not impressed! They say there is breakfast. Muffins and bars?? I think this is a joke. At least they’ll still provide utensils when you ask. The good thing about our stay is that we were so busy having fun out that we spent very little time at this hotel but overall it wasn’t a good experience. I have given it 2 stars instead of 1 just because they offered to refund one night if we decide to stay the remaining days. I might chose ESA again in future but not this location. I’m sorry.…
The woman name was Bernie. She was wonderful. Helped me book my room, gave me all my utensils, and she even helped me carry the bags to my room because she seen I was struggling. You need more employers like her. I will definitely be back. My name is Brianna.
This place is very dirty and not a safe place...I have stayed all over the world in third world countries and this place is the worst place I have stayed...The staff is nice but is it dirty and not safe. Really do not stay here...
I don’t typically leave reviews, but I am not impressed whatsoever. My husband and I are staying here for a few weeks for business, until we can be sent to California. The first room we were given was next door to someone smoking weed and we had headaches within the first 10 mins— they also have us two full beds when we asked for a king suite. The staff was kind, though I wouldn’t say they were helpful. They did move us to a room with a queen for the night, and told us they could find a king suite for us the next morning. When we got to the next room, we found that only one light switch worked, and the bathroom smelt awful. It was a handicapped bathroom, and I don’t mean to sound rude, but it smelt like the person who lived in this room had many accidents. The smell was a mix of sewer and old, wet toilet paper. My husband and I both were gagging and had to put a towel underneath the door in attempt to help the room smell tolerable. The bathroom also did not have provided soap or shampoo/ conditioner. No soap for the sink either. As if we even wanted to be in that bathroom. Within the timeframe of 5 hours, we heard at least 4 people try to open our hotel door. My husband is the bravest person I know, but even he was nervous to stay here. Every neighbor was noisy and inconsiderate. Every thud we heard from the other rooms, we figured it was either someone drunk, stoned out of their mind, having sex or potentially in a fight. I’m sorry but we are NOT IMPRESSED. Awful.…
First of all I didn't even stay at Extended Stay. When we arrived at the hotel for our reservation. We were told we were relocated and they couldn't tell us where. We called cancellon and they gave us the run around. Long story short we had to spend over $500 to have a place to stay while in Vegas or we would have been on the street. Worst service ever. Oh yeah and didn't get reimbursed.
