Rented a 1 bedroom. Nice clean and comfortable. This is a good place when you're first moving to town or staying short term. Gives you the opportunity to find what you need.
If i ever had to, I would stay again.

We stayed here the entire month of September while in transition of moving to Las Vegas.

When we checked in we specifically asked what the cost was for each month. We were given a detailed explanation and were very clear as to the amount due for October. We went to pay for the month of October and it was $300 higher. They told us the employee had misinformed us before.

In the entire month we were there the spa never worked. Inquired as to why they said it was just broken. The laundry facilities took your money but then didn't drain when washing and the dryer ran but never dried. Brought this to their attention and were told it was their vendors fault not theirs.

They were nice employees but nice doesn't cover all the costs they are untruthful about.

My advice. Stay elsewhere.

I had stayed here 6 months ago and I had a very pleasant stay. I never received my 150 deposit back though. Maybe a mistake in my address yet to find out.

This time around however they gave me a horrible room. Its right in front of the parking lots and cars park at 3am blasting rap music and stay there. Like they are partying there. So you can't sleep.

Also they old me ALL the rooms are smoking. There is no NON-smoking section so if the person who stayed in your room smoked the room will smell like smoke.

My room they gave this time smells like someone did drugs and smoked here. Its not only cigarette some. Its a weird smell. I have smelled drugs in nigh clubs in Hawaii I think meth and it smells similar and I feel sick literally.

I asked them if they could move me and they say NO. They said they are full but judging by the parking lot it does not seem like it.

If you do not like the smell of smoke. You will NOT be able to get a non-smoking room. If you are lucky as I was last time.
They room won't but there is no guarantee. Also noise. People park their cars and party at 3 am on the parking lots.
Rap music seems to be they music of choice.

There are differences in being a customer of Budget Suites, and being a customer of a motel or hotel. These are partially furnished apartments suitable for weekly or monthly rental. The traveler provides his own sheets, blankets, towels, kitchen utensils, dishes, etc. Some units are available with microwave ovens, and some not. Some are available with upgraded TVs, some not - with some upgraded TVs smaller, and some larger. The general condition varies and it is best to ask to inspect 2 or 3 before making a decision. Budget Suites does not handle reservations like a hotel or motel, even when payment is offered in advance. Availability varies from day to day of arrival. Answers from staff on this and other things can vary depending on who is spoken to. The complex does not have elevators. Overall it appears to be in better condition than a number of other similar accommodations in Las Vegas. Overall condition was good while the facility is not new. Wear and tear is present from past use, and varies from unit to unit. Security was courteous. WiFi Internet service is available, and works only on one customer computer. There was evidence of treatment for bugs, etc. - and none were present. A deposit is required, but promptly returned by mail. Understanding the experience I would stay at this Budget Suites again, but would need to arrive on a day when several units are available for inspection. As another comment said "Nice place but read my suggestions"

I recently retired from Walt Disney World and we decided to check out Las Vegas to see if this would be a city to call home. I was surprised. The room was clean and carpet cleaned, but not to Disney standards. I saw no bugs and the grounds were well kept. The rooms are dated - an 80's feel to them. There was a refundable $75 deposit. I believe the deposit now is $100. With the "updated" rooms, one will be charged, individually, for the microwave, flat screen, and hard wood floors. We were charged weekly $4.95 for a new microwave. There are no elevators to the 2nd and 3rd floors. Laundry rooms are needing repair, but the wear and tear makes it difficult to keep up with the repairs. You will need a laundry card at the Front Desk. The charge is $2 and can load money on to the card at a machine at The Front Desk. The laundry rooms have no air, but a swamp cooler which keeps the room tolerable. The pool / Jacuzzi areas look well maintained. No towels/ linens in the rooms or will be charged for those. The mattress was clean, but very uncomfortable. The couch was clean, but uncomfortable. Folks do smoke in rooms. We have seen hookers milling around at night on Tropicana. It's Las Vegas folks - Sin City. The employees at the Front Desk were more than polite. We came in without a reservation mid day and paid for a nice room on the first floor for a month. The parking lots are well lit and have security. This is not a 5 star / 5 diamond resort. We would suggest this business for those who are looking for a reasonable weekly/ monthly rate for Las Vegas cost of lving standards.
