This is usually our choice hotel when we are going to see family in Vegas, it's close to their house. Sam's is a convenient hotel but is also a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and well maintained, staff bus always friendly and accommodating. The restaurants are good and they have things for both kids and adults to... More

I was amazed when we got to our Sam's Town Hotel. The room was so wonderful! I'd bought a discount coupon rate of $39 per night. I wasn't expecting much. We'd stayed at a hotel in Nevada the night before for $79 and it had old mattresses and no t.v. Sam's Town is beautiful!! Everything you need is right there... More

We have stayed here for many years. Rooms are clean. The property is starting to get threadbare. Air conditioning would not work, Door key had to be reset by engineering, Wallpaper was peeling and faucets leaked. Prices are reasonable but not with all the problems. Some elevators were not working and the waits were long. We will still visit Vegas... More

We booked two rooms for family. Although the hotel is away from the main drag, the prices were much better. We had a 6 year old with us, so we were able to entertain him at the bowling alley, movie theater, arcade, and donut shop while others went to the casino(s). The bowling alley was larger than I expected. The... More

The the room was inexpensive due to taking advantage of a promotion. The facility is somewhat dated but the room was clean and well serviced. I found the front desk friendly and helpful. It's 10 to 15 minutes to the down area. There is a Walmart across the street and other shopping within less than a mile. There are a variety... More

I stayed here because it was cheap. You get what you pay for. Room was clean, but very dated. Rips in the wallpaper and stains on the furniture. The walls are thin, so you can hear your neighbors, or vice versa. Only one of the elevators near the atrium side worked so it took forever to get to your room.... More

I love SAMs Town, yes it is off the strip but I always rent a car. It's not crowded and the staff are friendly. The rooms are clean (I upgraded to a suite this trip) and the room was huge with living area. The dealers are always friendly. I brought my wife this trip and this was her first trip... More

Uniquely picturesque atrium with a waterfall, trees, light & water shows set to music. Clean rooms & facilities, good food, nice casino, RV Park, unique and nicely done. Staff very nice and courteous. Don't let external looks fool you, because they will!! Come see the "Park Inside", you'll be glad you did!

Nothing is perfect so it's hard for me to give 5 stars, but this was close. I was a skeptic and had a reservation at Bally's for 500+ for a weekend when my friend said she had free rooms at Sam's. Ok, means more money for gambling! This is not the place to go if you've never been to Vegas.... More

Sure, it is off the Strip, but it offers almost as much with much fewer crowds. It is clean, well maintained, and a worthy alternative. There is shopping nearby, and a nearby KOA associated with the hotel. Bring your RV and gamble.
