The strip was quite expensive so I booked at South point for a recent business stay that brought wife along. Was upgraded to a king at check in, they only had queens at booking time. So that was a nice touch. Room was remarkably quiet, comfortable. Spacious king room. Housekeeping was fine as far as I know. Room has coffee...

We went to Vegas for a gymnastics meet and we decided to stay at South Point since it was the host hotel. While the hotel is on the south end of town, it was not far from the airport or the strip. The Uber price to the strip averaged around $15 per trip, which was cheaper than the hotel shuttle....

Highs: low rates for a spacious room; a collection of nine restaurants with good and affordable food (try specially the Asian and Mexican); a spectacular break fast at the Garden, for only US$ 7 per person; fast and free internet. Low: no services in the room (neither a mini bar); distant from the strip (10 minutes by car)

This Casino is plenty of locals and Tourist who do not like the crowds of The Strip. The casino is well appointed in my opinion. Everything is wide open so you can see from one end to the other. All gaming tables are located pretty much in the middle. I've had very good luck at the slots machines here. The...

South Point is a great place for locals and travelers. Military get 1/2 price on show tickets. The staff is excellent! Always making you feel welcome. The buffet is a great bargain. Movies $5.25 on Mondays.

I am very late in posting this however as I am planning my next trip to Vegas right now I thought I would share my 1 night stay here. Back in early July we had our flight home cancelled very late by the airline for mechanical reasons. Needless to say we were very upset people. There was a group of...

My room at South Point was very nice and provided a sitting area with couch, coffee table, three chairs around a round table which allowed for my small group to meet in my room for our planning session. Those meeting there were impressed with my accommodations on the 22nd floor and the room provided. I was asked, "how did you...

I have been to Vegas twice. I think south point is the best hotel by far. It's big but not to big that it's in personal. I loved the equestrian loved the casino pool area great. The staff were fantastic. I think it's better than any of the hotels on the strip by far. Regular shuttle to the strip. Spotlessly...

Very nice "out of the way" resort. I stayed here during a business convention. Usually, I stay at one of the strip hotels/resorts, but I found South Point during my search and decided to give it a try. It is quite a bit south of the strip, but access to Interstate 15 is very close, so you can be anywhere...
