On the plus side, the room was spacious and relatively quiet. However, the hotel is in the flight path, so we were awakened by a few jets. We had a corner chamber in Ruby Tower- 8th floor. Unfortunately, the corner view was dominated by a parking garage to the south and an apartment complex to the west, with the strip in the distance. The view was disappointing and not worth the extra charge. Also unfortunate was the very dirty floor. Definitely wear socks or slippers in the room or expect your feet to be filthy. When we first used the shower, we found a wet rag in the corner. We only hope it was left behind by housekeeping, and the shower had been cleaned after the former guests checked out. We had to request towels because we had only two bath size towels when we arrived. We requested housekeeping on the third day. This time, we were shorted washcloths, with housekeeping leaving only one. Although the room is spacious, there is little room to store clothing. Storage is limited to two drawers and two open closets with three hangers each. The separate vanity and dressing room is a confusing concept. The area is awkwardly located at the entrance of the room. It leads to the sitting are, which leads to the sleeping area and separate bathroom. The bathroom is spacious and includes a large soaking tub and separate shower with rainfall shower head. The bed was firm, but comfortable. There are temperature controls in the sitting area and sleeping area, which is convenient, but the system is rather noisy. Staff was courteous, and self parking off Harmon was convenient to the invited guest check-in area. The casino was extremely quiet, and offers no entertainment options. Service at Casa Calavera bar was inattentive.. Kitchen Commons service was attentive and efficient, and the food was pretty good. Service and food at Money Baby! were both fine. Overall, I think there is potential here, but they need to work out some kinks and liven up the very boring atmosphere. The property is located too far away from the Strip and other attractions to offer so little.

Hotel's Favourite
I am a Diamond Member for Hilton and was excited to check out this new hotel off the strip. The check-in process was a breeze. The front desk clerk was friendly and upgraded my room to a pool view on the 4th floor in the Canyon Tower. I was also provided $24 dollars a day for breakfast at their 24 hour restaurant. The breakfast was great and helped start a long day of gambling and walking the Las Vegas Strip. The room was newly renovated with a great walk-in shower with a movable water wand. The only complaint I would have is that my room was above a night club that played music outside of the pool on speakers pointed in my direction. The music stopped around 1:00am. I never went to front desk to complain because I was usually able to sleep through it. Never tried pool because it was pretty busy. Free parking, no resort fees make this an excellent choice. If your looking for one stop shop, look no further - The Virgin brand has done it again.

Beautiful property, just a stone’s throw from Las Vegas Strip. Newly renovated with such amazing service. We really enjoyed Kitchen restaurant and the ice cream shop that was open late. Guest room was huge with king bed and large living area . Bathroom had huge tub and separate shower. We loved the exclusivity of being in the Ruby Tower area with separate check-in and concierge area. While it was off the strip we were able to walk to it within 15 minutes. Hotel is really self contained with countless restaurants, spa, casino. Ride share area in main valet area made it really easy to have Uber/Lyft pick up/drop off. Within 10 minute drive to airport making this resort super convenient. I would stay here in a heart beat again!!!!

I check into The Virgin, Hilton, on Jan 12 2022. This experience was the worst experience I have had in 20 years at a Hilton or in Vegas. I planned to stay at the Virgin for a little longer, I left after the first night! My luggage was stolen out of my room, which included my suits, watches, and other items. $6-8K in total. The Virgin is not a safe location, I retired from the Marines after 20 years, I have been to many places. I am a Hilton reward member, I chose Hilton for safety and quality. The worst part is the lack of interest in helping me have a good Vegas experience after the theft! The theft occurred on the first day of a six day celebration, the worst part is the broken trust and the lack of service. I have waited six days for the Virgin Hilton to contact me. Now, I am sharing my experience with the person that reads this review. Help me, make people aware of the danger their Respectfully, Rear post Joe

I really had high hopes for the Virgin hotel. I loved the Hard Rock but it was in need of an update. This hotel needed a wow factor because it's far from the strip. The Virgin completely missed the mark. The rooms are a good size but look like Ikea meets the Jetsons. The bed is directly out of the Golden Girls! The room lighting is infuriating. On the positives the room is a good size, the bed is clean and the parking is free. I am a Hilton Diamond for life however since I booked via a 3rd party site I was relinquished to a room with a view of a building with many AC units. Speaking of AC the one in my room barely kept it cool even though its winter. The only amenity afforded to me as a Diamond member was a late checkout (extra 3 hours) but it didn't matter housekeeping kept banging on my door (4 times) asking when I was leaving. I don't spend a lot of time in my room in Vegas so I can put up with a quirky room however what I don't like is a depressing casino floor. Any highlights that were there when it was the Hard Rock are missing. The carpet is dark and so is the ceiling making you feel depressed. They did nothing to make it look hip or chic and it had zero excitement. It looks like any third-rate casino far from the strip. As a matter of fact, it was basically empty on Friday and Saturday night and I understand why. If you are going to Vegas for fun and excitement I would look elsewhere. If you just need a decent room and its cheap on a third party site go for it.
