Check in was easy and the staff was very nice. Our room was very nice and clean. I visited with a relative in the lobby for a while in the evening and the staff on duty was very nice and helpful. It was a very windy night in Las Vegas, so it was noisy throughout the night. Only complaint I have, is that I wish you had better quality pillows.
This time I chose the Fairfield Inn NW for a short stay in Vegas. A perfect hotel that met my needs. My room (upgrade to Suite due to Bonvoy Gold) was super clean and equipped with all comforts. A coffee machine, an empty refrigerator, very fast WiFi and even 2 large TV screens are always nice to have in your room. The bathroom was spacious enough and equipped with a pleasant shower with hot water. Sufficient towels (for 3 people) were also standard. The downside of the room is the noise. You can hear exactly when guests walk on the floor above you. Breakfast was included as standard and was sufficient with scrambled eggs, sausages, muffins, various yogurts, boiled eggs, fruit and coffee, tea and bottled water. Not very spectacular but okay not to leave the house with an empty stomach in the morning. The staff is relatively young, but above all always friendly and helpful. I think that is very important to feel at home right when you check in. Parking is free and can be found right in front of the entrance. So you don't have to travel long distances to get to your room. The location is ideal with several large shops and well-known restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Are there any drawbacks? Perhaps the room rates that are currently quite on the high side. $300+ per night I think is quite pricey for a suburb in Las Vegas. So be careful when you book and check whether Marriott offers temporary offers. That makes a huge difference to your budget!…
Prior to booking this hotel, we had done some research online and thought seriously about this hotel because it is relatively new. We thought a new hotel like this, even at a much higher average nightly rate than comparable hotels nearby or in other parts of Vegas, it ought to be worth it. Boy, were we wrong. First of all, the noise level is just unbelievable. It got to a point our sleep was interrupted repeatedly at night. Noise coming from outside, from someone else shutting the door, from cars, from freeway, from the AC unit inside the room..... Simply incessant noise. Second, on our second night, we had wanted some fresh towels because we had requested no cleaning. I called and the front desk said towels are available at the front desk for pickup only and cannot be delivered. Fine, I rushed downstairs forgetting to put my mask on. As soon as I showed up the front desk person rudely reprimanded me for not having a mask on. I apologized profusely and went back to get my mask. I came down again and she was still upset and said her GM is known for banning people from any future Marriott property stays for an offense like that. I again was extremely apologetic and told her it truly was an honest mistake. My boyfriend and I were both vaccinated already but of course I chose not to tell her because by now everything was moot. We were also fearful that her GM could ban us from any future Marriott stays... I would recommend anyone reading this review to seriously think twice about choosing this hotel.…
First of all, there was a lack of communication by the hotel even though I had initiated contact with the hotel one day prior to our arrival. We had requested an upgrade (I'm a Marriot Lifetime Platinum member) and the two rooms we booked to be close to each other. Even though the person replied that he or she was going to look into availability for the next day, there was dead silence afterwards. Based on past experience we thought we had been taken care of. Upon arriving, we realized someone had definitely dropped the ball. Michelle, who checked us in, repeatedly apologized and admitted someone had dropped the ball. It's fine to not be upgraded and we know it is based on availability. But if someone promised to look into it never did then by the time we arrived, it might have been too late to have any availability. We then realized that one side of the hotel faced the freeway so noise was going to be a factor. We therefore requested rooms on the other side, but they are mostly not available. Finally we were given two rooms but they are much apart. We had no choice because those were the only rooms left on the same floor that did not face the freeway. We then were told that the one regular room had a lamp issue that could not be fixed. We had to be inconvenienced. Fine, no big deal. We were just unhappy that someone had dropped the ball when we first initiated communication with the hotel. I then requested the hotel GM to give me a call in the morning. Sure enough, she did call me at 9 something the next morning. She started out by lecturing me right away in a condescending manner. When I tried to interrupt her (of course our time is valuable and we have other things on our schedule), she was not happy about it and wanted to continue to lecture me in, again, a condescending attitude. Of course, she thinks she's right and the customer is wrong. For the price we paid per night (north of $200 per night for one room, the other room we had redeemed points for), it was simply not worth it and the overall experience could not be worse. We then discovered that, even though it is a relatively new hotel, the AC unit is inside the room and it is loud at night. It is not central AC. So buyer beware. We would not return to this hotel ever again and likely advise our friends and family who frequent Vegas to never set foot in this hotel.…
We stayed 2 nights. Checking in was easy and the desk agent was so nice. We were upgraded to a suite, which was great! The room was large, very clean with lots of lighting options and a sitting area with another TV. Breakfast was available to pick up from a staff member. Choices were varied: Eggs and sausage, muffins/donuts, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal to name some things. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.
This was a great hotel off the beaten path. no casino but clean, staff was friendly, and the property was right off interstate. 5 min from Santa Fa Station casino. will definitely stay at this property again.
Comfortable rooms. We felt safe here with all the precautions they take. Check in was easy (touch less) and they maintained safe distance. Every one has masks and they were required. Although we were hesitant to stay at a hotel with COVID ramping up, we felt good about this place.
Lots of positive things to say about this hotel. - Very Clean rooms, hallways and lobby. - Staff is friendly - Plenty of parking near front of hotel - Location is right off the freeway - Walking distance to Grocery Store, Gas Station and Restaurant - I was recognized as a Marriott Bonvoy status Platinum Elite and was given an upgraded room. - During this pandemic masks were required inside hotel and signs encouraging social distancing in hallways and elevators. - Hand sanitizer was place throughout the hotel. - Free morning breakfast offerings included scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, coffee, juice, milk, yogurt, oatmeal and few more pastries choices the days I was there. Limited menu due to Covid-19 and served to you (not buffet style). - Quite location during the night and the freeway noise was not noticeable. - A/C worked well and shower water was always hot. Overall my stay was excellent and the hotel was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. Price per night was average compared to other hotels in this category and location. …
We were traveling across country. This is on the NW side of Vegas. It’s a newer hotel. The hotel was very clean and the staff was nice. Nicely appointed rooms. Big bathroom. Comfortable bed. The breakfast has oatmeal, sausage and eggs, cereal, juice, milk, yogurt. It’s blocked off so you tell the server what you want and they get it for you. I was planning to eat in my room but there was no one in the dining area so we ate there.
Advertised as pet friendly. I think no one considers a $150.00 charge for two dogs as pet friendly. They do not advertise price that up front. The hotel is located close to a freeway. They could have invested in better sound insulation; I was up half the night to the sound of reving engines; it was a Friday night so who knows if it's quieter during the week days/evenings. I got a e-receipt from Fairfield inn and it shows that I was charged $179.00, but when I look at *my bank account* it shows a pending $550.00; things aren't adding up. I had to call Fairfield inn to get to the bottom of it, I was told that the GM would call me back concerning this. It's not something one would consider to do or have to concern themselves with after staying at a hotel. I was told that the overcharge is going to be fixed and will take 3-4 days. I never got a call back from the GM. I guess it's a waiting game now. …
