This is the best hotel in Las Vegas as far as I'm concerned, but I cannot stand casinos or any of the general madness surrounding most of the Strip. If you are going to Vegas and want the full experience but still would like a higher-end experience, I would recommend Aria, which is on the same campus at the Mandarin...

This is a decent hotel, in a lovely spot halfway between the North and South Strips. The rooms are very comfortable (if a little jaded) and the staff very obliging. A complaint about my fridge not working efficiently was welcomed - but no action was taken. A shame because this is a good global franchise - but this hotel is...

I stayed here in August with my wife and three children aged 16, 14 and 11. This is a great base from which to explore the strip and dip your toes into the chaos whilst being able to escape at any time. The rooftop pool area is spectacular and the service very friendly and efficient. Lunch on the rooftop is...

My husband & I & another couple stopped by for an after dinner cocktail . The view of the lights was amazing. The menu was creative & enticing. Quiet with a zen ambience a sheer delight for conversation & enjoyment. Service was impeccable.

This hotel is a wonderful calm oasis in the madness that characterises Las Vegas. There is no casino and therefore no smoke pervading the atmosphere, each time I returned to the hotel I found myself going 'ahhhh' and my shoulders relaxing as I smelt the delicious aroma that welcomes you. The staff are professional and welcoming and the food to...

My wife and I have enjoyed many vacations in Las Vegas over the last 20 years, and have stayed in most of the finer resorts and hotels. On this occasion we thought we'd try out the Mandarin Oriental as it was rated number 1 on Trip Advisor. After a 3 night stay, our verdict was 'disappointing'. Not that the staff...

The usual high standard of service and delightful staff. No smokey gaming rooms and no crowds. However, negatives galore! So surprising! Stained upholstery, worn out furnishings, stuffing protruding from sofas, timber surfaces worn away, brass fitting not polished in 7years, dirty public bathrooms, burnt lampshades, marble floors in the lifts never polished. Spa needs a good clean - extensive brown...

From the time we checked-in the service at the Mandarin Oriental was first class and very personable. While the Mandarin is not part of a casino, it is within walking distance of the major hotel/casinos on the Las Vegas strip. Transportation using Lyft and Urber were easy and reasonable.

This is a really nice addition to Vegas hotels. Typical Mandarin service. Near all the action but the hotel is free of the crowds. The Twist restaurant is best in Vegas. I am not a vegetarian but chose the veggie tasting menu and was blown away.

Bad experience from day one. The Mandarin did not warn us of the Giant Marathon that was going on in Vegas on the day of arrival, all roads were blocked, after a 6hour drive from Phoenix this was not good, in the end we had to park the hired car miles away and get a cab to the Mandarin. Then...
