Kitchen supplies consist of 2 dinner plates, 2 saucers, 2 bowls, 4 glasses, 2 coffee cups,2 wine glasses, 2 spoons, 2 forks, 2 knives. No cooking vessels, no paring knives, no can opener, no measuring cups or spoons. There is lots of cupboard space to store these things We pack all the necessities so we don't have to dine out...

Unfortunately, the staff makes this place so un-relax-able that it makes no sense to come here. I can't believe how it can exist with such a terrible customer service. I will never ever come here again. I can forgive the shabby chic decor, the not-so-clean hot springs pools and tubs but I can't stand the rudeness and total lack of...

We stayed with 2 other couples for the Cowboy Festival this April for 2 nights. We each had a king room, with kitchen and living room and a view east to the grasslands and mountains across the Carson Valley. Staff was friendly and helpful, cost is quite reasonable. We did not use the Spa and note it does cost extra...

I used to go to David Walley's hot springs years ago and always had a very nice time then they ruined it when they turned it into a timeshare resort. In April, we spent the night and upon arrival, they had us talk to the timeshare people in the guise of getting a parking pass. They talked us into taking...

Great little lodge at the base of the Sierra, right on a creek/wetland area. Tons of wildlife, green and gorgeous, and the mineral hot springs, though pricey, are awesome. 2-bedroom suite was roomy and comfortable plus it's all dog friendly.

We had a great time at this resort, truly a pleasant surprise and enjoyed our stay, our time at the therapeutic and healing hotsprings! The restaurant was fabulous and the people at the resort from the front desk, to the staff, to the servers and everyone else were all so nice and friendly!

We traded out time share through Interval Intl to stay a week at this resort. The new owners have been investing in the property to improve the experience. We had both the one bedroom full kitchen suite and the studio kitchen efficiency. The resort is great and near some fun hiking and just down the mountain from Lake Tahoe. Restaurants...

This place is fabulous. Excellent atmosphere and employees. The spa is definitely a benefit for owners. It is located near the town of Genoa, which is very historic and very interesting. Will definitely return.

Cons: My major complaint is that the spa is not inclusive for resort guests!! We had to pay an extra $55 per person per day just to access the hot tub. That is ridiculous!! The spa is open to young kids so there were lots of children running around the small locker room and pools...which is fine if you expect...

Stay year every year for relaxation and quiet time. Resort has been upgraded recently and the new owners are spending money fixing up all of the rooms and hot spring spas. The main reason to stay here is for the quiet, relaxing atmosphere and the hot springs which are free for the guest. We stay in the canyon building each...
