It's Denio. There's not much of anything, which is an attraction. The motel is modest adequate as a place to sleep, shower and grab a bite to eat or knock down a beer. For me it's the option when my real destination, Fields, OR, isn't available. I love this part of NV/OR. I'll go back.

Only hotel in the vicinity so there isn't another choice. Rooms have 2 beds, clean, bath small but adequate. No TV but did have a coffeemaker. Owner is very friendly and helpful. No problem with extra towels. Restaurant right next door.

The owners are good people that run a nice bar and serve great food for those with a hearty appetite. Easy access to sheldon nat refuge to the west and many nearby chuckar and deer hunting opportunities. Rooms are decent and serve their purpose for a soft place to rest.

We love traveling the outback of Nevada and other states. Finding a warm, clean bed and a decent meal can sometimes be difficult. We found both at the Denio Junction Motel. It's not the Hyatt or Marriott but it sure was a welcome and comfort after bumping around in a jeep all day. The mushroom and onion hamburger was delicious...

We stayed at the "bungalows". It is NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. It is your basic room. It is old. The outside is dumpy BUT if you want a bed to sleep in for the night and shower in the morning, it will do.

The workers at the bar (check in desk) tell you that there is no TV or phone. But they say there is internet. After being checked into the back lot of the motel I discovered that the wi-fi didn't work. I asked about moving up to the front lot where the wi-fi might be better and offered to pay $40...

Those who have graceless in SE Oregon know that there is not much choice for places to stay. Denio is just over the border in NV. The motel is very basic but the rooms are clean and comfortable and the management is very friendly and helpful.

After a long drive it was nice to find such a quiet, clean and comfortable motel in a remote place like Denio. The friendly owners had turned up the heat and turned the light on for us before we got there. We also recommend calling- as in the previous review- to make reservations.

“The motel is located in Denio Junction - not Denio town which has absolutely nothing but a few buildings. Be sure to get there before the kitchen takes it's last order at 7:00 pm but you can drink until 10:30 pm.”
