The rooms are big and mostly made of wood. The bathroom, however, is small and water can be splashed onto the toilet seat if you're not careful with your shower. Since it is still Covid-19 period, breakfast was very basic (with less customers) - toast, coffee, fruits (and some local food). Walking distance to a bakery 20 yards away from the hotel. Would lodge again. Price is alright.
We stayed in this lovely hotel for two nights. It made me pleasure waking up enjoying the beautiful sun rise of Loikaw every morning. The things should be improved are breakfast and the service. The breakfast should have more choices and the service should more friendlier. Then, It will become the best hotel in Loikaw.
Ours was a good sized room, comfortable and quiet. It featured a large wetroom/bathroom, however, but the shower drained across the bathroom, so it was impractical to use. Also, I like to have my own toiletries close at hand when using the bathroom but there were no spaces or shelves to put anything. Breakfast (with eggs cooked to order) was good, however; and wifi was good too.
Location is in front of the town's lake. The reception desk helps you with the govt. pass to the Lawpita Hydro damn, which is quite convenient. The rooms are ok. Clean, large. The breakfast is simple fare, but the regular toast, noodles, fried rice options. The staff are friendly and helpful. Swimming pool is a bit awkward, as it is quite small and nestled in a small area. Right around the hotel corner is a chinese restaurant, so meals can be convenient. But of course it is regular small town standard.
Nice modern looking hotel enclosed in a glass box. But once you stepped in the hotel, it's just a Myanmar hotel. I found it's hard to settled in the room because something doesn't make sense. For example, there's no electrical outlets at the night table, yet a table lamp is there without being plugged. Wifi really depends on where the room is located. But the lobby has a good reception.
