I grew up 50 miles from Lake mcconaughy and have spent many years camping there. The last 4 years I have rented a trailer at North Shore. Having spent a lot of time there I knew what to expect going in as far as the conditions of the trailer houses are concerned. But this year was horrible not only did...

We camped here with our family over Labor Day weekend. We brought our camper and my sister rented one of the mobile homes. Out campsite was great and we were within walking distance of my sister. The only 2 complaints I had were there weren't good signs where to check in and when you are pulling a 40ft camper you...

Not even good for a fishing camp, DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS, was here for a fishing getaway so standards for that kind of trip are not high. The bed sheets were clean, but this place is rustic would not be so bad if it was not so high priced. not worth the money.

We stayed in one of the Mobile homes last summer. It was the worst place I have ever stayed. It looked like it hadn't been touched since the 1970s. The furniture was terribly stained. The carpets were terribly stained and literally there were places that it felt like there was a hole under the carpet. There were bugs on the...

We return year after year and still love it. The store makes everything convenient.... from milk to beer, ice to fuel and everything in between. The staff has actually taken the time to get to know us and are very friendly. We've done the cabins/trailers before..... they need some improvement.... but, you're, literally, walking distance to the beach. If you...

This place real sucks the trailers smell like mildew, For the price of $100 a night with a 2 night stay would have been better spent in a tent. The food sucked and the staff look trashy. I have nothing good to say about this hole in the wall.

First, if you spend $50 a night on a cabin, you have to understand what you are getting. The exterior of our cabin was a little run down, but the inside was clean, simple and sparse. We were ending a week long Colorado vacation and this was truly the perfect last night before we got home. Lake Mac is big...

DO NOT STAY HERE... we paid $195 a night for a trailer unit and it was horrific. When we opened the door, it smelled moldy and musty, which I know can be a problem near water, but seriously, if you are going to charge that much for a room, you should try to maintain it. There were spider-webs and bugs...

What a waste of money! Staying in a tent would have been more sanitary and saved me $100/night. The room doesn't look like they have swept, mopped or vacuumed. Everything is filthy. The beds are uncomfortable, to the point that I would have rather slept on the floor...but the floor was so nasty I didn't want to touch it with...

“Honestly, the location was great. We only rented one of the mobile homes, I can't comment on the lodge or campgrounds. I just couldn't believe they rented the mobile home in such poor condition. I have included photos of the inside.”

“Shower ($1 for 6 mins.) and bathroom house help when you need it! They're also only "available" to guests, not every beach goer and their group of 50.”
