Basic but great value for a night or two, just a 5 minute walk from the shops, bars & restaurants of Whitefish's downtown core. It's a bit tired but clean & functional & the staff we met were friendly. The heating unit in the room was very effective but quite noisy.

Great little pet friendly motel! Super clean, very convenient to town and - the best part, if you are traveling with pets - right on the river walk!! The river walk REALLY needs to be in their advertisement! It is a real asset for pet travelers! The staff was great! The gals were super friendly, the room was very clean... More

Very average motel. They were dog friendly which my husband and I appreciate. We travel with our 2 Border Collies and this was scheduled within 24 hours of our visit. Front desk staff very accommodating. A one night stay, adequate, clean at the right price and a last minute reservation. I would stay there with my pups again.

When we pulled into the parking lot, there were no other vehicles to be seen. Bad omen? We asked for a non-pet room, as I am extremely allergic. The woman at reception was very nice and accommodating. Our room had a sour smell and was VERY noisy. The AC/HEAT unit was so loud. Every time it kicked on, it startled... More

We needed a one night place to sleep and then move on. The price was good for here and it was clean and comfortable. It's a convenient location. The walls are thin. Stay on the upper floors to avoid the noise from adjacent and above rooms.

Passing through town we noticed the vacancy sign and pulled in. The price was right and much to our surprise they took Canadian cash at par. That is awesome!! Check in was quick and easy. The room was a decent size, clean, and the beds were quite comfortable. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful and suggested... More

Excellent value in a touristy town. Clean rooms, great staff. Classic old-style hotel that is quiet and in walking distance to all the downtown amenities. We'll stay here again if we make it back to Whitefish.

This hotel is a typical hotel with room floor plans of many chain hotels, just without the large lobby and/or dining area. The rooms are just like those in any other chain- two double beds, a large bathroom, a TV, desk, coffee maker, air conditioning, etc. However, it was clean and quiet and just what we needed after a long... We stayed at the Stumptown Inn for 3 nights between trips into Glacier National Park. We were honestly surprised at how clean and comfortable the room was, and were very impressed with Whitefish as a whole. It was an adorable little town with plenty of restaurants and cute shops downtown. For the cheaper price, it definitely exceeded expectations.
