Went in the winter and it was magical. Cute and cosy hotel right in the middle of town. Perfect for our stay. We were sad to leave. The staff was helpful and kind. The breakfast was simple but that's all we needed. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around and a supermarket right across the hotel.

When we were booking our trip to Grand Tetons & Yellowstone, we weren't sure the south entrance to YNP would be open, so to be safe, we booked a stay near the west entrance which we knew would be open (we traveled 5/12-5/18/2017 starting in the Grand Tetons for 2 1/2 days then up to YNP) This worked out perfectly!...

We were booked in the older wing which meant the room was small, tired and the fan heater (very necessary as temps outside were sub zero) noisy. Nevertheless the bed was comfortable and everything reasonably clean. Given where they are on the edge of the NP I suppose they can charge pretty high rates. It certainly isn't value for money,...

The hotel is on one of two or three streets whose shops generally aim at tourists, and there are several restaurants within walking distance. In fact, just a few blocks down the street is the border to Yellowstone. Nothing dramatic right there, but it was sorta fun to just walk across the line (no fence) and touch a Yellowstone tree....

Stagecoach Inn's decor is perfect for a National Park, it's old with lots of wood & an array of stuffed animals. They have a small pool, small gym with only a couple of pieces of equipment, wifi & breakfast was included in the price but there's nowhere to park except on the street. There's no in room safe, & their...

Stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! Hotel built in the 40s and has maintained the integrity of that era with the luxury of convenient updates. Beautiful, two story with very nice, large lobby. Our reservation was exactly as expected. Staff was competent and friendly. Breakfast was nice, beds comfortable. Bathroom sink is tiny but modern (granite). Love...

Stayed here for a couple of days. Great lobby, nice staff. Great location. We walked to the main street for dinner. One of the best steaks I have ever had. Clean rooms with plenty of space and nice size bathroom. Breakfast....not so much. Very basic and the coffee was So-so. McDonalds coffee to the rescue. I would stay again.

We really enjoyed the stay of this lovely hotel, comfortable and clean. All staff are kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Roxane and Pat are giving us greatest support. We did save all the time to browse all the good spots, of course, the moments we stay in with west yeallow stone for whole family--- timeless. Thank again.

We stayed here a couple of nights. We found the room and bathroom very small. Fortunately, the room had free wifi, good t.v. channel selection and centrally located to Yellowstone National Park. The free breakfast was very basic, cereal, breads, waffle, coffee and juice. No eggs bacon, sausage, etc. We actually skipped our free breakfast and went down the road...

The Stage Coach Inn is a landmark hotel in West Yellowstone, Montana, originally built in 1948 to meet the needs of travelers and visitors flocking to the Park in their automobiles. Over the years the hotel has seen many changes and acquired a colorful repetoire of stories and myths - ranging from bullet-holes, billiards, secret gambling rooms, and even ghosts - but the one constant has been to provide superior accommodations and service to Yellowstone National Park visitors. ... more   less
