The Lazy G was our three-night base for visiting Yellowstone in September. It was always good to know we had a warm, clean, and comfortable room to return to each night. The price was very reasonable and within walking distance of the best breakfast destination, Running Bear Pancake House. The proprietor, Jan, was helpful and hard working. Tea, coffee, hot...

No Hilton in area so we stayed here. Very pleased quiet, quaint, and comfortable. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were smaller than we are used too but were big enough. Beds were clean and comfortable. Missed the in-room coffee pot but the office had some at 7:00. Would stay again!

This is an excellent outside-the-park budget option. Our room was very clean and well maintained. Carpet was in nice condition. The sink is outside the bathroom with a large counter. It has a tub shower. There is no closet, but there is a short garment rack that takes up part of the room space. It is a medium sized room....

We had stayed at the Three Bear Lodge for 2 nights just previous to our stay at Lazy G. We wanted one more night at West Yellowstone and they had no additional space available. Lazy G was half the price but just as clean and functional for our purposes. We would stay there again. The owner was very friendly and...

Had a wonderful 3 night stay at this gem in West Yellowstone. Room with 2 queen beds was clean and very comfortable. Loved the old style paneling, which made me feel like I was in a cabin in the woods. Price was very good. A great independent place that is well designed -- really appreciated the bedside connections for electronics....

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite for 3 nights when visiting Yellowstone. The manager is very friendly and welcoming, surprised my kids with a goody bag. The suite is very clean and has a full kitchen with 2 fridges. The cookwares and utensils are well supplied, we even find a cast iron pan. The beds and pillows are very comfortable....

We were grateful to find affordable lodging at a busy time of year! We were also happy to see that the motel was clean and comfortable, just as the reviews reported. We were happy to find how centrally located it is! We will be back!

We stayed on an overnight going from Idaho Falls to Cody. We had a 2 room queen and it was very clean. Refrigerator , no coffee pot or microwave. The owners were friendly and helpful. Out tv acted up and they quickly tried to correct the problem. Free ice bags outside for your coolers. No AC but rooms had fans...

Nice older motel room with a remodeled bathroom. Room was clean and comfortable with a lounge chair and small table with 2 chairs. Room had a refrigerator but no microwave. Flat screen TV with Direct TV channels. WiFi is good but can be a little slow when viewing videos. Motel is very quiet since it is located in a residential...

The Lazy G was a great base for our four days in Yellowstone. The manager was very friendly, the place was clean, and there were so many thoughtful touches that it elevated our experience of the place. It is a bit dated--nothing fancy, for sure--but these details stood out: we were given a welcome bag with candy, chips, souvenir patches,...

“I did not realize it when I made the reservation but Lazy G has more than one story. If you need a room on the first floor, you need to indicate that. I should have called ahead to make sure we were on the first floor.”
