Lodge constructed in 2009 and the Motel rooms remodeled in 2011. From the moment you approach this impressive Lodge, you will realize it is no ordinary hotel. From the massive volcanic rock, log, and beam exterior, through the dramatic lobby and reclaimed materials in the common areas — you will know you are in for a unique experience. As you open the door to your spacious and comfortable room you will be enraptured by the handmade furniture crafted with reclaimed wood from the original 1932 building.Outdoor swimming pool is open during the summer months. Be sure to stop next door and experience our famous Three Bear Restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

This hotel is on the main road going into West Yellowstone. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The double room we had was large and comfortable. You should request a main floor room because they don’t have an elevator. The Three Bear Restaurant next door is a good place

Three Bears Lodge, West Yellowstone is just where you want to stay. It’s small, personal and proud of their history. Three Bears are seen throughout the property, etched in glass, carved and in full size to enjoy. Great staff, great food and truly a western winter experience.

My wife and I met family and friends at the Three Bear Lodge for a vacation. We had guided tours in Yellowstone National Park, then rented snowmobiles for our unguided tours of the local snowmobile trails. We couldn't of been happier. The lodge/motel could not of been more

We spent 3 days in West Yellowstone to see this amazing area in the winter. We booked the Premium package with Charlie at Three Bear Lodge. He was so helpful and personable. Unfortunately he could not get us rooms at the lodge, so he made arrangements at the Days Inn. Very nice

Motel room. Very large with great Beds.
Our room in the Motel portion of the Lodge.
back bedroom
King Room
When my husband and I stayed here, we stayed in a double queen room bathroom inside room and outside entrance. We were right next to the side entrance to the restaurant.. in the little breezeway. 1 door only to outside... beds were side by side with walking room between.

We stayed in the motel side as I cannot do stairs. Both times that we stayed, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Definitely would stay there again.

I thought the accommodations were just fine. The room we stayed in looked just like the pictures and for me the bigger issue is that it was really clean. If you are looking for 5 star plush then this is not for you. But for me with my husband and kids it worked out just perfect. The only area in accommodations that they are limited in is there is not elevator. So you carry your bags to the second floor or you will need to request a first floor room. I also stayed in the lodge and did not go into the motel portion so I cannot speak to that. I also agree with the post above our breakfast was worth it - Get the Biscuits!
