I was taking a business trip through the area and decided to try this B&B to avoid yet another night in a hotel chain and found a gem in this small quiet ranching and farm town. The place is immaculately clean, really comfortable, and Susan, the host made me feel right at home. The old sandstone school is really impressive...

Love this place, it's so quiet and peaceful! We stayed here 5 years ago and decided to drive home this way again just to stay here. Susan is a very cool gal, and she makes a delicious breakfast, yummy bacon, eggs and toast. The rooms are clean, spacious and homey. Beds are comfortable, what more could you want?

My husband and I left Susan's wonderful Stone School Inn a few days ago and we are still talking about what a great stay we had. We stayed in the Meadowlark Room (very spacious and the bed was so comfy!) but we got to sneak a peek at the other rooms, and they are all superb. The features for each...

Stayed here on our way to Glacier. What a delight to find such a great place. We stayed in the room with the king bed. It was spacious with just the right touch of decorating. The bed was comfy. Everything was very clean. The hardwood floors immaculate. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and the fresh fruit salad was huge! Loved...

Stayed here with my wife on October 9th, 2015. Susan (the owner) has done a great job refurbishing an old elementary school in Valier, Montana (built in 1911) into a bed and breakfast. Everything is first class. Wifi on the property... be advised cell phone coverage is spotty in Valier. Nice, quiet, and with a view of Lake Francis. Very...

If our cousin in Valier had not told us about the Stone School Inn, we would have missed the highlight of our trip to Montana. The Inn is newly renovated with top-of-the-line everything. The breakfast was top-notch (better than available in the national chain hotels). Susan really made us feel at home and we were sorry to have to leave,

Elegant rooms in a cool stone building, friendly service, tasty breakfast. Quick drive to the Rock City hoodoos. A hidden gem in Montana - a great place to stop after a charming drive down highway 89 by Glacier National Park.

Stone School Inn is a top B&B accomodation in the very North of Montana, just on the road between Great Falls and Glacier N.P. It's an excellent alternative from the usual hotels and motels. Personal welcome and "care" by Susan - she also explains with enthusiasm the story of this impressive house, gives tips what to do and where to...

We stayed here overnight on our way from Glacier National Park to Great Falls. The building was more than impressive and Susan made us feel very welcome. The room was really roomy and exceptionally clean. The whole of the inside of the bed and breakfast was tastefully decorated and the breakfasts were lovely.

Spotlessly clean with grand wood floors and high ceilings this place was a break from cookie cutter roadside motels. Owner Susan is a master jack of all trades with taste design and structure. She has a flawless commercial kitchen and can prepare your breakfast be it simple or involved. The grounds and hallways transport you to the turn of the...
