A nice mom and pop place to overnight. I like the NW corner rooms. Very nice to wake up and shave and look out the window at famous Montana artist's Square Butte. Our room was clean and tidy. Way better than staying in the noise and overpriced busyness in Great Falls. Plus the Wolf's Den Cafe is town is great...

We wanted to go a little further than Great Falls, and this was a nice little stop right off the highway. Room was clean, and the Front Desk guy was helpful and welcoming. Easy to find, and price was right. Room was decent size. Shower could use an upgrade, but it was what we were expecting so it was alright....

Stayed here a week in Oct 15 while bird hunting in local area. Small but sufficient rooms. Great hot showers with good pressure to wash off the dust from daily hikes. Room 11 worked out fine for two hunters and a Brittany. Recommend bringing your own pillow. Would stay again if in the area.

If you're thinking about staying here, you're either a local, in which case you know what to expect, or something has gone wrong and you unexpectedly need a place to stay. I was in the second group, and the Sundown Motel was just fine. It's an old motel without many modern conveniences, but it was clean, cozy, and everything worked....

Just planned a stay here on a lark to get away from the chain motels on our long drive. Check in was quick and efficient. Our room, #3, looked like it was built in the 50's, remodeled in the 70's and there it stayed. The beds were full sized, not queen. It was very clean. The bathroom was tiny but...

Again we selected this spot to stay for our hunting trips(s) - one 2 day duration and one 4-day duration. The owner is super nice and helpful and our room was clean and large enough to fit us and the gear we brought with us. We arrived very late the first trip and the note on the door said our...

What a great place, when I first booked this Motel is was our half way stop on our way to Sturgis for the rally, not sure what to expect when My son and I arrived in a town of only 800, we arrived later than we expected, and the note on the office door told us that we were in...

For the only motel - or hotel or any other lodging - in a town of less than 800, the accommodations of the Sundown are exceptionally good. A very welcoming owner gave us the lay of the town and made it clear we could knock anytime. Yes, rooms and bathrooms are smallish but very clean and satellite T.V. was a...

The hotel owners are helpful and pleasant to deal with. The rooms are average for a small community. We stayed for a 4-day duration this hunting season and it readily met our needs. Spend a couple extra dollars for the suite or cabin to have the extra room. The bathrooms are small, but the shower is hot and the heat...
