The lodge is as much what you'd hope to find in this gorgeous countryside as possible....and you're just outside the least-traveled entrance to Yellowstone...far away from all the tour buses and turkey tourists... as you inside the park you've got great fishing up the trail to Rogers Lake off to the right, and you'll drive alongside Icebox Canyon to your...

I loved the rustic charm and how great my too was. The view was breathtaking and the manager was so knowledgeable. Each morning quiet and peaceful as we drove away from the lodge to go explore the park. I had an awesome time. The showers hot, the beds soft and the company was great.

My wife and I were traveling in Yellowstone Park and did not plan ahead for a place to stay. Fortunately for us we found the Range Riders Lodge! It was getting dark as we left the northeast entrance of Yellowstone National Park and immediately outside of the gate in Silver Gate, MT we found the Range Riders. Robert, the proprietor...

My husband and I were in Yellowstone for just a day as we headed home from Banff to St. Louis. We toured Yellowstone all day and about 9:00 decided to head out the east gate in hopes of finding a hotel quickly. We pulled right into Silver Gate and saw this big old rustic log lodge. What character it had...

This place is a gem. Nestled in a vista full of breathtaking scenery, you want to go here for peace, quiet, and tranquility. The days and nights I spent here were some of the most refreshing, relaxing, and just plain wonderful in my life. Our host, he will forgive me since I cannot recall his name, was amazingly hospitable. I...

The Range Riders Lodge was a really excellent find; it was late in the evening and I was looking for somewhere inexpensive to stay for one night but I loved the Lodge so much I returned (after a day walking in Yellowstone) the following night! Range Riders is a really impressive vaulted building with a huge eating and seating area...

nothing knows my name. bison eat, wolves eat, letters fly, moths to flame. I. In all seriousness, my stay here was nothing short of excellent. Traveler: no need to bring towels or even soap, as the bathrooms are well stocked. A relaxing place to rest before a long day of watching all the wildlife...I got a lot of writing done...

This was an amazing location. Our host was the best I'd ever had, and I couldn't have asked for more during my writing group's weeklong excursion into the park. I think the best way I can advertise this place is to give you a poem about the view behind the lodge, looking up on of the several majestic peaks that...

I took a class of undergraduate and graduate creative writing students to Range Riders and found it the perfect setting for our stay and work. The old log lodge has a huge industrial kitchen we used to make our meals, a big dinning area, a rustic lounge with a big fireplace for visiting beside on cool nights, and very clean...

I've stayed at the Range Riders Lodge on two separate occasions (2014, 2015) with a class of 16-18 college students (Biology) from Minnesota State University, Mankato. The owner (Henry) and the managers (Robert and Doug) were very easy to deal with and they are genuinely interested in the education of my students. They helped arrange guest speakers from Yellowstone on...
