Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great Hotel!! Nice room & it was clean and people were quiet so that was nice!! Decent breakfast 🥞 not to shabby for being included. The best was comfy and it’s a great location! Will stay again if in Livingston. It was close to the highway and great location.

Our room was very nice. Plank floor instead of sketchy carpet. Breakfast was as expected. My only complaint is the bath towels smelled like stale cooking oil. This hotel does not have an elevator, but we managed the luggage using the stairs.

Dated, poorly maintained property with steep, narrow stairs to second floor. I saw a young couple in the parking lot, she was on crutches. I sure hope they got a ground floor room! The curtains in our room were falling off the rod. Bed: A, Pillows: B, HVAC: C- (very noisy), Shower: C- (very thin towels). Breakfast, served until 9:30am; we entered the breakfast room at 8:15 to find bare shelves, just a few tables, horrible room coffee, not much better in the breakfast room.

We got in to Livingston late in the afternoon, and we were efficiently checked in to the Econolodge by Tori, and since we did not want to go out for dinner, I asked Tori if she had a couple of slices of bread, so that we could eat in our room, so she gave them to me. The room had a comfortable king bed and pillows, microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, good clean shower, lots of room to set bags, medium vanity outside the bathroom (a plus). Breakfast was good with Jimmy Dean Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Sandwiches, Fruit Cups, Muffins, Cereals, Yogurts, Juices, and Coffee. We will stay again!

The thermostat was set at 61 degrees when I checked in. I went to front desk to get 3 light bulbs so I had lights in the room. I kept turning the thermostat up(up to 80), never getting warm. I was the only person in a 2 bed room so about 100 am I pulled all the blankets off the other bed to stay warm. Otherwise the room was clean, and location good by the highway. Lady at front desk was pleasant. She was aware of heater issues, and just shrugged her shoulders.

I stayed here for two nights in early May (May 8 and 9) 2022. It was OK. The room was fine. I was disappointed because the offerings for breakfast were meager. I do not think they offered any hot meat like bacon or sausage.

Beautiful area right by Yellowstone. Motel seemed inviting from the outside and when you walked right in. Very nice and helpful lady at the front desk. Was able to inform me of some locations where my cousin and I could see the mountains. Comfortable and big room, quiet, and there’s 24/7 coffee and refreshment area. Would definitely be back here!

My regular place to stay in Livingston was full so I had to find another place! I figured why not try the Econo Lodge. The location is off the beaten path. The room was clean. The bed was good! They served a nice little breakfast! They have a pool and a hot tub. There is also a small little fitness room that worked for me! I will stay here again!

Stayed at this location being a Choice rewards member. This is the only Choice property in town. It was very good. In a time, when less places offer a hot breakfast, this place still does. The heated pool and spa was a bonus (so cold outside), Very clean room, heater worked perfect. I very much enjoyed my stay here.

I flew into Bozeman late at night and was going to Yellowstone in the morning so decided to stay here since it’s in between. I saw there were a few hotels in Livingston and chose Econolodge because it was very visible just off the highway. The front desk lady was very friendly, and helped arrange a room near the exit door. The room was very clean and the views out the window are amazing when I woke up. The breakfast was very well laid out (eggs, ham, pastries, fruits, etc…). I would stay here again if in the area.
