My husband and I visited friends, who took us here our last night in town. What a great treat to save for last. We each had the steak (when in Montana...) and also enjoyed a fish appetizer that was delicious. Our server was very friendly and always attentive. Montana is a special place, and this restaurant stands out among the...

What a great place. We arrived after 8 pm but the office was still open!! Jessica was awesome - made us feel so welcomed. Also gave us great tips about Yellowstone NP. The rooms we clean, nicely decorated. Had a fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast was included and it was very good. The views were the best - and the...

The room was a duplex cabin. The view was of the river and could hear it burbling. The internet was ok, but not great. The river was close enough to walk and fish in. The restaurant was very close (walking distance) and served a great breakfast with a good variety of choices. There was no city or road noise to...

Enjoyed a dinner with a group . Service fantastic , specials and menus explained well . My meat overcooked but , very good beet salad and tasty desert. If I have any complaint , it's that I felt rushed as it seems another large party were c for our table .

We Stopped here for 2 nights during a week long trip up from Jackson Hole through Yellowstone... had a wedding to attend in the Livingston area. It's great to have satellite TV and decent internet after being deprived in Yellowstone. I know... enjoy nature and disconnect... not always mutually exclusive! Even things like checking tripadvisor reviews for last minute plan...

The accommodation is clean and comfortable. The views are great. A car is essential as there is nothing close by. We were disappointed to be told on arrival that there restaurant was fully booked and considering there is nothing for miles this was not appreciated. We asked if we could sit at the bar and told no. We were also...

We apologize for any misunderstanding in regards to the dinner restaurant. We try our best to communicate to every guest during the reservation process that our restaurant has very limited seating and is also very popular, so the need for a reservation is pertinent. We take our customer complaints very seriously and would love to make it right for you...

We stayed two nights at Yellowstone Valley Lodge. The restaurant is fantastic, and the staff is too! We used YVL as a base for exploring north Yellowstone. It is about a 45 minute drive to the park from the hotel, but the scenery is nice. We didn't mind the distance, especially after getting an in-person look at some of the...

We really enjoyed our stay at Yellowstone valley Lodge. Beautiful setting. Nice room larger cabin my sister stayed in was great. Amazing food - be sure to eat dinner in restaurant at least one night. It's very convenient location between Yellowstone and Livingston. We hope to be back soon.

I was meeting my brother and his family for a visit to Yellowstone and I ran across this operation. It's a beautiful piece of property and only about 25 minutes from the North entrance into Yellowstone National Park. They also have a first class restaurant on site that has the best rainbow trout I've ever had.

Lovely setting on the river, but the swarming flying insects kept us from enjoying our porch. Well appointed room, but the air conditioner was extremely loud. A nice desk and clothes wardrobe, but the two chairs were uncomfortable to relax on to see the river view. We had read so many great reviews of the restaurant but we were there...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We're a small, off-the-beaten-path collection of contemporary cabins and one exceptional five-star gourmet restaurant, tucked along the banks of the Yellowstone River on a ranch style property in the Paradise Valley of Montana. Our passions: Falling asleep to the sound of the river (we've also got a weak spot for high-count linens, fly-fishing, and microbrews—you'll see.), anything locally grown (if Chef Marcos prepares it, it's good) and showing off Yellowstone National Park (and the Valley's other endless outdoor opportunities). With our local knowledge, upscale amenities, and taste for both fine food and outdoor adventure, we're a natural base for your Yellowstone-area experience. ... more   less
