Enjoyed the room, ice water and coffee in the lobby, within walking distance to a number of restaurants, walking distance to the park entrance, great people working in the office. Our room was roomy, and it was nice that we could have the dogs with us.

We stayed one night in the newer building (2nd floor no elevator). The room was big, queen beds, good cable, rate was under $100. The bathroom sink and vanity was in the room but spacious. It is located just outside of Yellowstone northern entrance. Office closes down at 10:30p for the night. Eat at the Raven just down the street...

This Motel was one of the best experience we have had in a long time. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh. It was quiet, great location, area to sit and overlook the river, walking distance of downtown area. The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was so reasonably priced and also offered an AARP discount. It is a...

We stayed for 2 nights and we normally stay at the Super 8. However, they were more expensive and not as nice of a room. I will definitely return when we are visiting the park next year. The room was large and at a good location in town.

About as close as you can get to the entrance of the park, the Yellowstone River Lodge has a nice patio overlooking the river. Our rooms had two double beds and there was still enough room for a little desk, arm chair and microwave and minifridge. Coffee and teas are available in the lobby almost all day and night (until...

Our room was very large but the layout was a little strange. This facility is a little dated, but clean. The city was in the process of fixing the road in front of the motel, so it was dusty. At the back of the motel there is a small picnic area where you can look down on the river and...

We stayed here as part of a Road Scholar tour. This lovely family owned business is located just outside of Yellowstone's entrance. It was immaculate. Our room was equipped with a small fridge, wi fi, flat screen television and microwave. Fresh towels were provided daily. Sheets were changed on Wednesdays. There were elk hanging out across the street and that...

We had a booking somewherelse, but we had a problem to reach it as some road were closed because of the fire, so we decide to exit the park from the north side of yellowstone looking for a place to stay and we saw vacancy at the River motel, which looked really welcoming. The lady that welcomed us was just...

We stayed here for 5 days while attending a Road Scholar program on Yellowstone Park. The room was very clean and had all we needed. Microwave and small refrigerator in the room. The free Wi-Fi was good. There's a common area behind the motel with picnic tables and chairs where you can relax while overlooking the Yellowstone River. Saw some...

We stopped in because it was one of the few places with vacancy in mid-August. We weren't sure what to expect but the office staff was friendly and helpful and the lobby had a nice set up of complimentary water/coffee/tea. There is a beautiful backyard open to guests that overlooks the Yellowstone river. Great place to eat lunch or sip...
