Called to reserve at room. Guy kinda short with me. Requested a room to accommodate at dog. Guy said the one room was being renovated. Felt like I was getting the run around. Will not call back in the future.

The room was comfortable and clean. The manager accommodated us very well and even suggested moving us to a better, quieter room away from the street noise and gave us suggestion for local dining. For a convenient non-nonsense stay in Ennis, I recommend the Silvertip Lodge.

We've been staying with Norm at the Silvertip Lodge for quite some time now. We're a larger group, so we usually reserve the "House" plus another room. Norms a great guy, the rooms are always clean, and it always lives up to my expectation. No its not the Ritz or some fancy B&B but we're fly fishermen who need a...

We have stayed here three times now, twice back in 2014 and once in 2016 -- for several days on each occasion. We like how clean it's kept, how quiet it is at night (especially in the end unit away from the road), good speed WiFi that's free, easy access to the rooms from the car (10 feet or less),...

Stayed at the lodge recently. Great little place that is warm and cozy. The rooms have everything you need. The Gravel Bar is across the street and has a good selection of beers on draught and good food, reasonably priced. Great set up to eat, sleep, fish and have a cold one.

This is local motel in every way, and that is why we loved it and some folks might not. There are absolutely no frills, yet everything we needed was there. The beds were comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean and neat, and we could walk to most any restaurant or bar in town. We use a motel to 'sleep...

My wife and I spent two weeks touring Montana, Wyoming and Idaho and stayed in small town inns during the entire trip. Uniquely, we stayed at the Silvertip Lodge twice during our vacation due to its proximity to Bozeman and Yellowstone respectively. The pros: *scenic setting *right in the middle of town *convenient parking at our door The cons: *dated...

My wife and I were in town for the rodeo and fireworks. Ennis was packed, and we felt fortunate the Silvertip had a room. We were trying to experience the "old" west on this trip, and what better way than staying at motels. The owner was accommodating, and we loved his dog. The room was spacious and perfectly clean. This...

I came here with my boyfriend for his fly fishing trip. This is a very basic motel with clean beds, a small compact fridge, a microwave and a small bathroom. They don't have a hairdryer though. As my boyfriend points out to me..."this isn't the Ritz." Yeah yeah I know. This is a place for people who want to go...

This was our second trip to Ennis and staying at the Silvertip Lodge Motel. The owner Norm is extremely accommodating. We had a late check in and he arranged a place for us to find the key easily and get into our room. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette. The rooms are clean, rustic and cozy and located...
