We had called ahead to make reservations since we had experienced the "all filled up but have a suite left" story before on this trip. This is a real basic motel. Two beds, bath, TV with small A/C unit. No coffee maker in room, no Kleenex, no telephone, no free breakfast (coffee in lobby). It was clean and the beds... More

A clean and pleasant motel. No pets, no smoking, no coffee-maker in the room. Otherwise, fully satisfactory in every way. A bit expensive ($80 a night) relative to prices down the road in Williston during the oil price slump, but worth the premium price for the peace and quiet this little town offers.

This place is conveniently located. It is Clean and fairly priced. Motel is "older", but kept up. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Nice large rooms. It was clean and had everything we needed. No air conditioning but it was not missed with the windows open. Walk the neighborhood. Quite nice town

There are only two motels in Culbertson, and this one was okay. It was clean and the owners were very friendly. The sink in the room was very small, but we could deal with that. What we couldn't deal with was there was no water in the shower. The coffee was in the lobby, but there was no coffee. Eventually... More

Clean, quiet, comfortable and reasonably priced. The lady at the check in was very friendly and helpful. The room was large, the bathroom was spotless and the bed comfy. There is coffee and tea in the lobby, along with porridge for those who want it. It was a nice day so we walked one block to the Stagecoach Casino and... More

The woman at the front desk was very helpful and polite. The hotel is what you would expect for a small town in rural Montana. It needs updating, but was clean, quiet, and comfortable. They also had surprisingly fast WiFi and more channels available through Dish than most chain hotels. They are clearly making an effort to provide amenities and... More

I can't say enough about how nice the woman we dealt with here was. So friendly, which makes a lot of difference in a stay. That said, the room we stayed in was badly in need of some updating: holes in blankets, stains on carpet. It did seem generally clean, though, which helped. Still, our stay in a two-bed room... We were traveling thorough northern Montana on our way to visit family. We had not planned to stop so soon but we were tired and decided to get some rest before heading on west. I had done some research on the area and read the horror stories about crime and the oil boom, so I was hesitant to stay in... More

Rolled into town and had no choice but to stay at the king's inn, everyone booked up. I had to go deal with the rude lady manager. Oh what a surprise, I guess the owner's finally axed that rude women. Oh, how pleasant the new lady manager is, very nice. I'll be staying here from now on. Very clean rooms.

If you read older reviews please keep in mind it is under new ownership/ management. that being said I came out to the area for work and had most of my plans fall through. The couple running the motel were angels in disguise. Truly helped me out in my time of need and went above and beyond when it was... More
