Cool hotel. Nice bar and restaurant. Old school. Great place to stay when visiting Yellowstone. Got here in the evening so the wildlife through Lamar valley was spectacular as well as the views going back the day after. Would I stay again – yes.
Our server, Crystal, is amazing! She delivered the best service we have seen/had in a very long time. I do not usually post reviews but the service provided is very noteworthy. Our visit took place on July 3, 2017, we brought our granddaughters to Yellowstone...More
Soda Butt Lodge is convenient to Lamar Valley in the Northeast entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It's rustic, clean, comfortable, affordable and has a restaurant and bar. Coffee and fruit in the lobby in the morning. The Beartooth Restaurant across the street had excellant food...More

Great hotel. Cooked breakfast available for an extra cost but coffee and muffins available free in the mornings. Good restaraunt with very generous portions. Hotel perfectly positioned for wildlife watching in Yellowstone, situated only minutes from the Lamar Valley. Loved it!

We have a parking lot for truck and trailor accross the street, but it is not paved. It is a nice area to park, though, with a security camera. The northeast entrance to the park is a good road like that of the rest of the park. You should have no problem. You are also close to the Beartooth Hwy and Chief Joseph Scenic Hwy that are prime for bikers.
