My husband and I wanted to stay in the Cooke City area after exploring Yellowstone NP. We also wanted to drive the Beartooth Highway, Chief Joseph Highway, Red Lodge, and visit Cody, Wyoming. Finding Skyline Guest Ranch met our needs and we stayed there for two nights. We stayed in the room on the top floor to the rear of...

I found this gem of a place in the Yellowstone Lonely Planet book. Booking online was very easy, and so was the check-in. Our room, on the ground floor, was spacious and the bed was comfy. Definitely a nice stay after four days of car camping. I would highly recommend everyone staying here to go horseback riding. My fiance and...

I was looking for a place to stay that was close to the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone. The ranch meets this need. I received additional experiences, I was not expecting. The ranch is right beside the horse barn. My husband suffered from allergies for days. You have to pay extra for wifi. There is no cell service here or in...

We had booked to stay at this ranch for three nights. On arrival we met the owner Liz who booked us in and took payment. There were no pleasantries asking about our trip nor any information as to amenities in the area. She then gave us our key and left us. Our room was quite dark We were so disappointed...

We have stayed with Liz and Vic Jackson numerous times throughout the past 3 years and are NEVER disappointed. Skyline Guest Ranch is in such an idyllic spot- so beautiful with its Swiss-styled lodge, pine forest & meadow & adjacent barn and corrals with their horses & mules. Every time we stay there it feels like we've come back home....

We actually had ten people in our group and booked two rooms. Very nice and accommodating hosts! Delicious and very well presented breakfasts! Neat lodge type decor. There were children with us and they were welcome along with the adults.

The owner's are very friendly, very personable, very accommodating . . . it was a great place to stay! Very beautiful area. We didn't get a chance to go horseback riding, it just didn't work into our schedule. Loved it there!!

Located really close to one of the entrances into Yellowstone National Park. Log home in a beautiful area. Nice accommodations. Great breakfasts provided each morning. Welcoming but not intrusive hosts. They also have their own horses although we didn't make use of them on this trip.

My partner and I stayed at this beautiful ranch for 3 nights. As we are from Asia, we didn't know what to expect as it was our first time being in this part of the States. I have to say that staying here was a wonderful "American country" experience and I am glad I chose Skyline Ranch. Liz and Vic...

We absolutely love staying at the skyline guest ranch when we snowmobile in the winter months. Victor and Liz are wonderful people and very accommodating. We have two little girls that call this "their cabin" :-) They absolutely love going. It's so convenient and cozy. We've never had an issue. Liz is an amazing cook, everything is always clean and...
