Skyline Ranch is a large rustic mountain log cabin (built with re-claimed lumber from a forest fire) with a welcoming, homey bed and breakfast vibe. It’s located close to Yellowstone and the Beartooth Mountain Highway, just outside Cooke City (which is actually a very small town- don’t expect to buy provisions there). Skyline guests can stay one night (as we...

We choose Skyline because of proximity to Yellowstone areas that we love and never having stayed in the Cooke City area before. It was all we could have asked for it to be. Breakfast Amazing! Wonderful expereince with exceptional hostess. Spotless rooms with all the amenities of home. Moose steps away from our driveway. Easy access to the Beartooth's and...

We chose Skyline for our Yellowstone trip because of the reviews on Trip advisor. I was truly glad we did. The owners are so kind and welcoming, helping us to feel at home as soon as we arrived. We were on the third floor, and had time to enjoy sitting on the porch on that level to relax and revive....

My husband and I stayed at at skyline Guest Ranch on our start for our Yellowstone adventure. Liz was a wonderful hostess and gave us excellent advice on places to eat in Cook City and where to look for wild life as we entered the park. Fantastic stay.

We recently stayed 2 nights at the Skyline Guest Ranch, a short drive east of Cooke City Montana. The 3 story log cabin is spotless and comfortable, the bedrooms and bathrooms roomy. Our room had a high ceiling with large log beams. We had planned on a trail ride, but altitude sickness ended that idea. It was enjoyable talking with...

We stayed here 2 nights as part of our week in Yellowstone,. It was much nicer lodging and a much better value than the park options. It was easy to drive to Lamar at dawn and look for wildlife and then come back to the lodge for a yummy 8 o'clock breakfast. The trail ride they offer was awesome and...

We had a fabulous time at the SGR. The food was excellent, the lodge was comfortable, the horses were great (I rode Jimmy and Mabel), the fishing was outstanding, and the guides were friendly and knowledgable. It is a warm family experience staying at SGR, and the scenery was spectacular. Victor, Luke, kids and family, thanks for a memorable and...

We stayed at several places on our trip to Yellowstone and this was my favorite. The kids especially loved this place and wanted to stay a week. The rooms and lodge were nicely appointed. The staff were great and very helpful. The property has a barn and horses and lots of dogs for the kids to enjoy. We took a...

I spent five days with the Jackson's at Skyline Guest Ranch. The room was large and well keep. The breakfast was great. Liz has something different each morning and all of it is good. Great folks to work with. I have been there two years in a row for five days each time. Loved both trips.

My husband and I wanted to stay in the Cooke City area after exploring Yellowstone NP. We also wanted to drive the Beartooth Highway, Chief Joseph Highway, Red Lodge, and visit Cody, Wyoming. Finding Skyline Guest Ranch met our needs and we stayed there for two nights. We stayed in the room on the top floor to the rear of...
