This motel, located on the border of downtown, proved to be a resounding success for my wife and I. The staff were great, friendly and professional at all times, not with the paste on smiles that you sometimes get in the chains. From free wine tasting to a good simple breakfast all was good. The restaurant was closed for renovation...

I got caught up in a snowstorm while traveling from Knoxville Tennessee, to Seattle Washington. I have to get a place to spend the night quickly. Lewis and Clark game was the first one that I came acrossed. On checking in was charged $12 for a deposit on a tv remote. I ordered pizza from the office and had it...

There are NO amenities. The swimming pool has long been closed; the café has been turned into a storage area. The owners/management recently reopened the laundromat, but I haven't tried it, nor will I. The easternmost building recently had a truck crash into it, causing major structural damage. That building is climate controlled through a swamp cooler. The only way...

We love this hotel. We stay here every time we pass through. They have an EXCELLENT breakfast. They also have a puzzle in the lobby all the time. When the puzzle is finished they frame it and hang it in the hotels. IMPORTANT TIPS: Call to reserve your room. They give preference to those who call for nicer rooms and...

We got to the registration office at 1:30 am. We went through the sign in process and the key fee. I thought it odd that there is a sign on the wall in the registration office saying no refunds. My wife and I got to room 53 and there was all kinds of noise coming from everywhere to go along...

We arrived late in Billings and every hotel in town was full...except the Lewis and Clark Inn. I wish that we would have just slept in our car instead of overpaying for the most disgusting, dirty, loudest hotel room that I have ever stayed in. We brought in a sleeping bag to put on the bed, because it was so...

I checked in to my room, brought my luggage in to a room that had to be 90 degrees. I tried to turn the heat down to no avail, it is either on or off. I went back to the office to ask for help, his reply was "the maintenance person is not available, he said to crack a window...

This motel was very nice, rooms spatious & comfortable. We stayed there for 3 nights towards the end of Feb. 2013. The breakfasts were excellent with the owner/manager making delicious signature banana bread daily!! The breakfast/lounge area was large, comfortable with historic & vintage collections displayed. We came over from Germany & were heading to Yellowstone for a Wolf Seminar....

Among flea-bag motels, this one has got to rate a bit higher than an SRO. The rooms are tiny, the bathrooms are miniscule and the appearance is somewhat slightly above run-down. This motel might have been a nice place to stay in its early days, but is now a long-term residential motel. The exterior is just above seedy. The current...
