Imagine a bed and breakfast located in three buildings over a hundred years old in the heart of one the friendliest towns in the midwest. To complete your mental picture, add gracious and personable hosts and a first-class breakfast. These folks do everything well. They have twelve different rooms and we have visited five of them. Each room has its... More

We were here for one night (happened to be on a Sunday night when you get a 25% room discount). This lovely home is located right on the Walnut Street section covered by the historic walking tour. It's just a short drive from downtown restaurants, shopping, etc.(you can walk it in 10-15 minutes) and it's only a block from the... More

Just a short stay in Springfield for a concert and chose Walnut Street Inn based on previous reviews and price point. This is a great B&B that maintains its Victorian charm, but not too foo-foo. The room wasn't huge, but it was cozy and comfortable. Added touches in the room included a small fridge stocked with cold drinks, coffeemaker with... More

The Finley room didn't disappoint. The room has an air bubble tub big enough for two. The queen sized bed was really comfortable. There were extra pillows in the closet. Towels were nice and thick. Plenty of lotion, shampoo and soap for the weekend. Will definitely be back!

Arrived Friday right at 2pm (as super long drive) wanted to get settled in. Come up from Texas (and brother this time from Alabama) each year but stayed at other hotels. Hospitality by both Lisa's was awesome and by far exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was a treat and the accommodations were great (we were in the Benton) - top of... More

This was our first stop on our Missouri road trip. Walnut Street Inn is a beautiful home lovingly preserved. We were greeted by the friendly and helpful innkeeper. Our room was spacious with welcoming cookies. The dinner suggestion Giraldi's nearby was excellent. The breakfast was wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at this nice property -- the breakfast was very good and we enjoyed conversing with innkeeper, staff, and fellow guests. Highly recommended! We enjoyed a short walk to a nearby restaurant, which was also very good.

My husband and I stayed here in the Rosen room. I love the privacy and that we had our own bathroom. The breakfast was phenomenal and the staff was soooo friendly!! We will definitely be coming back!!

This is my 2nd stay with Walnut Street Inn. I travel for work and prefer to stay in a B&B where I can get recommendations on where to eat, where to be in town and where not to be, how long will it take to get to my next destination, etc. You get the picture. Gary and his staff are... More
