Stayed at the Schoolhouse B&B for New Year's Eve after dinner at Abigail's and a successful proposal under the tree downtown. Mike and Lisa are truly accommodating and showcase professionalism in every aspect! If you want a lesson on what "staying in class" looks and feels like, it doesn't get any better than this.

We've been hosting an annual Christmas party of 15 to 25 in the School House's lovely Teacher's Lounge for years now and Lisa and Mike are definitely the "host and hostess with the mostess" attending to every detail. They simply could not be any more accommodating. 5-10 people in our party typically stay overnight at the B & B and...

Mike & Lisa make sure you enjoy your stay with impeccably clean and accommodating rooms. High ceilings and huge windows make you feel like you are living in the turn of the century. They literally have thought of all your needs down to the last detail. The breakfast was delicious, especially the fruit parfait. Don't miss visiting some of the...

We stayed in the Hide and Seek room downstairs. Started off a bit toasty and with no thermostat to control the temperature thought we might be in for a long night, but all was well and we slept well in the comfortable king-size bed. Linens and pillows were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend...

We loved this place! Small town with lots to do. Katy trail was less than a minute away and lots of shops close enough to walk. Bike shed with easy access on property. The room had everything you would need. Mike and Lisa are extremely nice and good with recommendations on where to go. They go all out for breakfast...

The School House dating back to 1914 is a adorable B&B, Lisa and Mike are great host. They have a nice supply of beer in the fridge for a small fee and have a wine cooler stocked with wine form the local winery 1/4 mile away also for a small fee. The yard is perfect for some wine and a...

Lisa and Mike provide the perfect b&b for a getaway ANY time of the year, but our autumn visit was exquisite. The rooms are spotless and lovely. The cookies yummy. The breakfasts seasonal and generous and delicious. The KATY trail (as well as restaurants and winery) is close by for lovely walks or bike rides. We want to go back...

We loved the School House Bed & Breakfast. We travelled to Rocheport to ride bikes on the Katy Trail for two days. We stayed three nights and enjoyed the central location for riding, the great hospitality of Mike and Lisa, the delicious breakfasts, the charming property, fun local restaurants and lots of relaxation!

Our group of 6 cyclists did not stay in the B & B, but rather in a property behind the schoolhouse. It was perfect for our needs. There was a shed to house and lock up our bikes and gear. The dorm had two bedrooms outfitted with a futon and bunk beds. Each guest room had central heat and A/C...
